On 22nd September 2025, Antara organized a special workshop on “Managing Transference and Counter Transference in dealing with Psychiatric Patients.”

The session was conducted by Dr. Pushpa Mishra, practicing psychoanalyst, member of the International Psychoanalytical Association Climate Committee, and former President of the Indian Psychoanalytical Society.

Held at the Antara Community Hall, the workshop was attended by psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, ward in-charges, and nursing staff. It offered deep insights into understanding therapeutic relationships, enhancing clinical practice, and ensuring compassionate mental health care.

We sincerely thank Dr. Mishra for leading this enriching session, and all participants for their enthusiastic involvement in making the program a success. 🌿

This World Alzheimer’s Day, ask about dementia. Ask about Alzheimer’s.
Early conversations save lives, reduce stigma, and open doors to support.
Let’s speak, listen, and act.

18/09/2025

🌍 Even as we approach World Mental Health Day on 10th October 2025, let’s remember the importance of caring for our minds and supporting one another.

Mental health is our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It influences how we think, how we behave, and how we express ourselves towards society and the people around us.

It is high time we break the social stigma, come forward to care for our minds, know ourselves better, and extend support to others.

Let’s prioritize mental health. 💙

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Arundhati Biswas, Consultant Psychiatrist, Antara, for sharing this important message and reminding us to value our mental well-being. 🙏
