Kyphoplasty It is a surgical procedure to treat painful compression fractures in spine. These compression fractures may involve one or more vertebra and are a common result of osteoporosis. A balloon is used to create cavity in vertebral body which is then filled with bone cement. It not only restores the vertebral height but also gives tremendous results in pain control. It is a minimally invasive procedure and patient can be discharged on same day/Next day of surgery.
