The other day I came across a story where the husband gives up his well paying job and decided to move to US as his wife got a job at NASA. He realised the importance of her dream & wish and made adjustment altering himself and starting everything new. I never been outside India but I am sure things are not as lavish or easy woking and moving your life abroad as it is being portrayed on social media. People leave their home, loved ones behind to pursue their dreams.
I love how the husband adjust to all forthcoming scenarios keeping his wife's dream in his mind. Likewise, even ever a need arises that a woman/man have to compromise on certain scenarios, then she/he must look at what's the best she can do at current situation. Life after marriage (even before that) cannot be always the way you want. You must mould yourself according to situation and have the attitude of giving up temporary pleasure for long term benefits. Be it relationship or outside situation, things will never ever be always the way you want!
Even Sudha mam must have had her low phase of life and she did ( she revealed in a interview) but she never dwelled on it for long and took things on her stride.
This quote by Sudhaji resonates with me as I am facing similar situation: "If you always want things to go your way, there will be nothing but suffering.”
Easier said than done but yes life isn't all rosy all the time & can crush you too but we live. We survive. We gather ourselves. We move on!
Have you been through this phase too? ( I am sharing my experience resonating with sudhaji's quote, hope you like it 🙂)
