Dr. Mahadev D. Dixit Honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award!
Arihant Hospital proudly congratulates Dr. Mahadev D. Dixit, Managing Director & Chief Cardiac Surgeon, on receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Society of Minimally Invasive Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeons of India.
With an illustrious career spanning over 40 years, Dr. Dixit has performed more than 40,000 open-heart surgeries, including 7,500 complex pediatric cases. He is a true pioneer, being the first in Karnataka to introduce both Minimal Access Valve Surgery and Robotic Heart Surgery, raising the bar for cardiac care in the region.
Dr. Dixit’s contributions extend beyond medicine. Through his hospitals and charitable foundation, he has enabled over 20,000 free surgeries for underserved communities, transforming countless lives.
His exceptional work has been recognised with numerous honours, including the Karnataka State Rajyotsava Award and the “Best Scientist” award from KLE University. Holding an FRCS from Glasgow, his career stands as a testament to surgical excellence, innovation, and profound community service.
