10th National Summit on Good and Replicable Practices and Innovations in Public Health Systems, organized by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in Chandigarh.
This national platform brought together policymakers, public health leaders, and innovators from across the country to showcase impactful, scalable solutions aimed at strengthening India’s health systems.
It is truly inspiring to be part of a forum inaugurated by Hon’ble Union Health Minister J. P. Nadda, along with esteemed dignitaries including Nayab Singh Saini and Arti Singh Rao.

I’m deeply humbled and incredibly proud to share my book “The Pulse of a Nation: How Immunization Rebuilt India’s Health” .
This book is not just about vaccines or programs — it is about people.
It is about the ANMs walking miles with vaccine carriers, ASHAs building trust one household at a time, cold-chain handlers guarding every drop, and officers quietly ensuring that no child is left behind.
From the forests of Betul to the policy corridors of Delhi, these pages carry real field experiences, leadership lessons, ethical dilemmas, data revolutions, and above all, the human spirit that powers India’s public health system. Writing this book was an emotional journey — reliving moments of challenge, purpose, fatigue, faith, and fulfillment.
I dedicate this work to every frontline health worker and to every child whose protected life reflects the true strength of our nation. If this book reminds even one reader that compassion is as important as science, it will have achieved its purpose.
Grateful to all mentors, colleagues, field teams, and family who made this journey possible.
