District Level World Autism Awareness Day 2026 organised at Auditorium of CRSR, Charampa, Bhadrak.Sri Khageswsr Sethi DSSO,Bhadrak, Sri Padman Kumar Ray Ex-DSSO, Bhadrak, Dr. Debaraj Panigrahi Ex- CWC Chairman, Dr. Arun Kumar Lenka, Principal CRSR College of Spl. Education and Dr. Bhagaban Parida Gen. Secretary CRSR etc. invited dignitaries inaugurated the Programme. Students of B.Ed(Special Education ID) managed by the organisation,Parents/Guardians of Children with Disabilities, Rehabilitation Professionals and other supporting Staff actively participated in the programme. In series of discussions on the issues for early identification, intervention, measures to be taken for reducing the effects of disabilities were discussed through PPT to create awareness among parents, Professionals, field level workers etc.

Sri Dillip Kumar Routrai IAS, Collector and District Magistrate, Bhadrak and Sri Manoj Kumar Rout, Superintendent of Police,Bhadrak , District Social Security Officer, Bhadrak alongwith other officers of the district celebrated Holi, the festival of Colours at Integrated Infrastructure Complex(IIC) Dhamnagar with the inmates of Rehabilitation Centre for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities requiring High Support Need along with other units Spl. School for HI and VI children, Rehabilitation centre for Persons with Mentntally Ill, Old Sge Home for Senior Citizens accommodated there. Inmates of different units enjoyed the programme on performing dance and music. Sweets, fruits and chocolates distributed by the guests . Holi celebrated at CRSR. by children with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). On this occasion children enjoyed with different colours (Avira) , Chocolates, Sweets, Cold Drinks and performing dances.

CRSR in collaboration with SSEPD wing of District Administration,Balasore organised first such Zonal level Awareness Programme on Rehabilitation of Persons with Benchmark Disabilities requiring High Support needs, in accordance with the provision of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 at Auditorium of Padmabati Amusement Park & Resort, Balasore on 18.02.202 . State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, President Zilla Parishad, Balasore ,ADM,Balasore, Sub-Collector,Nilgiri,and Deputy Secretary,SSEPD Department attended as Guests on the inaugural function.The Participants include field functionaries of SSEPD Department from Balasore,Bhadrak,Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj district , Anganwadi workers and ASHA Workers of above mentioned four districts , Staff and functionaries of Special Institutions. Eminent Personalities of Rehabilitation of PwDs discussed on legal aspects,relevance of establishing such Rehabilitation Centres and appreciation of services provided there .

Dr.Hari Babu Kambhampati, Hon'ble Governor of Odisha presented prestigious Pride of Odisha Award launched by Argus TV to Dr.Bhagaban Parida, General Secretary,CRSR,Bhadrak in a Special Programme organised for the purpose on 14th February,2026 at Hotel Swosti Premium,Bhubaneswar on recognition dedicated services for Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities in the State .

CRSR organised a routine Health Checkup and Dementia Screening camp for Senior citizens at IIC (SHRADHALAYA) Dhamnagar under AVYAY Scheme with the cooperation of District Administration (SSEPD Section), Bhadrak . In the camp more than 12 Dementia cases primarily detected out of more than 100 Senior Citizens turned up.
