This was a case of 3 rd degree uterovaginal prolapse with thick, edematous snd unhealthy cervix.She had 2 daughters and suffering from secondary infertility following prolapse.Sacrohysteropexy was done 4 years back and then she conceived naturally.She delivered a male child by LSCS, 2.7 Kg.Tube ligation done.
Happy patient and the happier DOCTOR.

By the end of this year 2023, wants to share the success rate of fertility treatment at RWH.
Out of 154 registration in this year under infertility group ,55 patients has already conceived.All this by medical tt,OI + Gonadotropins,Proper folliculometry ,IUI(H),male factor infertility tt etc.Hysteroscopic intervention for those required ,and laparoscopy for blocked tubes,cyst,fibroid ,LOD etc.
With all these intervention giving the results in between 35 to 40%.
Much more than many IVF centres.

Among these patients more than 50% of patients had more than 5 years infertility.
Out of this 154, pts.
Not all patients
continue the treatment, some pt. Visit for once only.So, finally it was 120 to 130 patients who were compliant to treatment.
Though there are many success stories, but sharing one of the difficult one.
Couple married since 13 years ,female 38 years and husband 54 years conceived 3 months after tt @ RWH.Female herself was 100kg in weight.Pregnancy journey was very difficult She visited my OPD more than 50 times through out the pregnancy ,with various complaints. Giving the medical tt as well as emotional support pregnancy continued.After 8 month developed severe hypertension. Managing all the complications ,finally she gave birth to female child 3.5 kg by LSCS.
Discharged happily today.
I am thankful to the almighty for giving me the opportunity to serve and blessing me and my patients.

This couple struggling with infertility from last 10 years.Got pregnancy test positive after 2 months Women"s Hospital .

Giving the result with only ovulation induction and IUI is very satisfying.

Many such couples with more than 10/12 years of infertility have been benefitted .
It is not by IVF but by just understanding and following their cycles and treating the underlying cause by minimal invasive surgery.
The success rate of Women's Hospital is around 35 %.
Comparable to any IVF lab.
