A 23 year old female had complaint of obstuction during jaw opening.On examination, TMJ was found to be normal. Bulge was evident on palpation distal to tooth number 17.
X-rays were advised and it was found that coronoid process was impinging on the impacted third molar.
The third molar was surgically removed. Patient has normal mouth opening post-operative.
