➡️A female presented for other complaints, had a history of dilatation and evacuation done for missed abortion one year back.

➡️2D transvaginal scan of uterus showed an interrupted endometrial line.

➡️On 3D TVS, a hypoechoic adhesion band (thickness: 2.1 mm) is seen in right para-median location in the endometrial canal, which appears to dissect the endometrial cavity in the fundal region.
👉🏻Suggestive of “Asherman syndrome”, also known as uterine synechiae.

Note made of small nabothian cyst in cervix.

This is a complete septate uterus in a patient with a history of recurrent pregnancy loss. 3D USG has beautifully demonstrated the details and aided in the diagnosis.
• The two uterine cavities are not widely splayed.
• The serosal fundal contour is key in this assessment.
• There is contiguous myometrium between the two horns (not a didelphys).
• The fundal contour has a slight dip (not a bicornuate).
• The appearance is consistent with a septate uterus, with a fairly thick septum.Extension into the cervix is also evident.
• The distinction is important, particularly in a patient with prior miscarriages who is seeking fertility.A septate uterus has the highest association with pregnancy loss.

ફિઝિયોલોજીકલ બોવેલ હર્નિયેશન ગર્ભાવસ્થાના 6થી 10મા સપ્તાહ દરમિયાન થતી સામાન્ય પ્રક્રિયા છે. આ પ્રક્રિયામાં મધ્ય આંતરડું(midgut) ઝડપથી વધે છે અને થોડા સમય માટે અંબિલિકલ નાળમાં બહાર આવે છે, કારણ કે પેટની જગ્યા તે સમયે નાની હોય છે.

10થી 12મા સપ્તાહે, આંતરડું પાછું પેટમાં જાય છે. જો આ સમયસર પાછું ન આવે તો ઓમ્ફેલોસીલ અથવા માલરોટેશન જેવી સમસ્યાઓ થઇ શકે છે.

એક્ટોપિક પ્રેગ્નેન્સી (Ectopic Pregnancy) એ એવી ગર્ભાવસ્થા છે જેમાં ફર્ટિલાઇઝ્ડ એગ ગર્ભાશય (uterus)ની અંદર વિકસવા બદલે બહાર વિકસવા લાગે છે. સામાન્ય રીતે આ સ્થિતિ ફેલોપિયન ટ્યુબમાં જોવા મળે છે, પરંતુ ક્યારેક પેલ્વિસ અથવા પેટના અન્ય ભાગોમાં પણ થઈ શકે છે.

આ સ્થિતિ ગંભીર અને ખતરનાક સાબિત થઈ શકે છે, જો તેનું યોગ્ય અને સમયસર નિદાન ન થાય. એક્ટોપિક પ્રેગ્નેન્સી માટે તાત્કાલિક ડૉક્ટરની સલાહ અને સારવાર લેવી અત્યંત આવશ્યક છે.

નિદાન: એક્ટોપિક પ્રેગ્નેન્સીનું નિદાન સોનોગ્રાફી દ્વારા સરળતાથી થઈ શકે છે.
