Ocassion : 2nd Part of COLS Awareness Program
Today was the 2nd part of the COLS awareness programme to all primary, secondary and higher secondary school teachers.

Today, appropriately 2500 teachers from bhavnagar district were given training for COLS divided in different sessions throughout the day.

This task was accomplished by Department of Anaesthesiology with help from Department of Surgery, Medicine, Respiratory medicine and Orthopaedics of GMCB. Six consultants gave common lecture to each batch of approximately 300-350 teachers explaining them about COLS. This followed by hands-on training session for each participant on 14 stations with manikins where individual attention was given to each for training them for COLS by 7 SR, 38 resident doctors, and 22 intern doctors.
This helped in enlightening all participants about saving life during critical situations,which will also ensure that our future is also educated about the same.

Today, we achieved another milestone by imparting COLS awareness programme to all primary, secondary and higher secondary school teachers.

We are happy to inform you that approx. 2500 teachers from bhavnagar district were given training for COLS divided in different sessions throughout the day.

This phenomenonal task was implemented and excecuted by Department of Anaesthesiology in association of department Medicine GMCB.
Eight consultants gave lecture to each batch af about 300 teachers about COLS. This was followed by hands on training session where individual attention was given to each participant ( teacher) to teach practical aspect of
COLS by 2 Assistant professor, 24 resident doctors and 18 intern doctors in different 14 stations.
This helped in enlightening all participants about saving life during critical situations,which will also ensure that our future is also educated about the same.
We express our sincere gratitude to our Dean sir, Superitendent sir and RMO sir for their continuous support and encouragement.
