હે સાહેબ, ગોઠણ નો ઘસારો કસરતથી સારો થઈ શકે ખરી?
હા, થઈ શકે; ગોઠણના ઘસરાના (ઓસ્ટીઓઆર્થરાઇટિસ) મુખ્યત્વે 4 તબક્કા હોય છે. જેમાં પેહલા અને બીજા તબક્કામાં કસરત થી સારું થઇ જાય છે. ત્રીજા કે ચોથા સ્ટેજ મા ઓપરેશન કરવું પડે છે.

ઘસારાના કારણે જે કંઈ inflammation કે સોજો હોય તથા દુઃખાવો હોય તો physiotherapy સારવારમા અમુક મશીનનો ઉપયોગ કરી દુઃખાવો, સોજો કે inflammation ઓછું કરવા માં આવે છે (જેની કોઇ આડ અસર હોતી નથી) જેથી કસરત દરમિયાન દુઃખાવા ની માત્રા ધીમે ધીમે ઓછી થતી જાય

તો સાહેબ કસરત કરવા થી ઘસારો હોય તે સરખો થઇ જાય છે?
ના, જે ઘસારો થયો હોય તેનું કંઈ ન થઇ શકે, પણ તેની સામે ગોઠણના નબળા સ્નાયુને મજબૂત કરવાની અને કડક સ્નાયુ ને ઢીલા કરવાની કસરત કરી, ગોઠણના સાંધાનો આધાર મજબૂત કરવામા આવે છે જેથી કરી ને બધો જ load ડાયરેક્ટ ગોઠણ પર નહિ આવે અને વધારે ઘસારો નહિ થાય.

બીજી શું કાળજી શું રાખવી જોઈ?
કાળજીમાં તો પલાઠી વાળી ને કે ઉભડક ના બેસવું જોઈ.
