A 26-27 weeker 650 gram male extreme preterm delivered and brought in *RAINBOW CHILD HOSPITAL AND NICU*. This was such a challenging task for us to survive this newborn. In other side of coin, Mother also had a very bad obs. history (3 missed abortion with bad intestinal obstruction during this pregnancy ) for the same Open laparotomy procedure was performed. On next day mother had spontaneous labour pain started & child delivered.
So then our role came. On 1st of admission,surfactant,C pap support and exclusive NICU care treatment was started. But on 2nd week of life we faced so many medical conditions such as Acute renal failure (creat >3,urea>300),polyurea,persistant Hyperglycaemia (>300),electrolyte imbalance (Na-172-168-162-152),PDA which required medical management . In this crucial scenario,septic screen was negative. We resolved all this barriers which was making obstacles in process of healing.
On 56th day life,we happily discharged this new born with 1.8kg of wt.,with intact neurological outcome and with well taking BF and with all positive outcomes.
Thanks to Almighty,parents and relative for constant trust and support, hospital staff and gynaecologists who trust on us for this type of challenging newborn..
