रोटेटर कफ की चोट से कंधे में दर्द, कमजोरी और गति सीमित हो जाती है, जो अक्सर रात में या सिर के ऊपर की गतिविधियों के दौरान बढ़ जाती है। यह चोट अचानक लगी चोट या बार-बार होने वाले तनाव के कारण हो सकती है। लक्षणों में आराम करते समय/रात में दर्द (विशेषकर कंधे पर लेटने पर), हाथ उठाने/घुमाने में कठिनाई और कमजोरी शामिल हैं, कभी-कभी इसमें चटकने जैसी सनसनी भी महसूस होती है। उपचार में आमतौर पर आराम, बर्फ लगाना, दर्द निवारक दवाएं , फिजियोथेरेपी या इंजेक्शन शामिल होते हैं, जबकि गंभीर चोटों के लिए सर्जरी की आवश्यकता हो सकती है।
