It’s a baby of 2 days age when I operated 8 days ago. Small intestine abruptly stops developing because of obstruction (called diaphragm) within the lumen. Difference in caliber of intestine can be noticed & shown by arrow. After removing the diaphragm by surgery, baby is taking oral feeds.
I post this pic. to create awarenesns in gen. public of congenital problems of newborn.
