Proud to share this remarkable surgery performed in Cordis Heart care unit of JK hospital .
Left ventricular rhabdomyomas are rare .
This 8 month child was just 6 kgs and presented with unexplained bluishness of entire body occasionally .
2D echo showed a giant tumour arising from LV apex which was successfully removed after a very challenging surgery in a child whose circulating volume was just 600 ml
The procedure was performed by a team led by Dr Anand Yadav and included Surgeon Dr Sameer Chauhan,Anaesthtist Dr Ashish Saraogi,Physician assistant Vinod Kumar and Perfusionist Ms Sehar .Dr GC Gautam and Dr Vivek Tripathi identified this extremely rare anamoly making it the first in recent times .
