-- Group I: This group includes mustard oil and the soybean oil. These two oils are rich in Omega-3. Omega- 3 is an essential fatty acid needed by our body. However the body cannot produce this fatty acid and has to depend on external sources. It is a polyunsaturated acid and works very well in combination with Omega-6. It is very essential to keep our body in good health. Its presence is very high in oily fish like salmon, tuna and sardines.

-- Group II: This group includes oils like groundnut, sunflower, safflower, rice bran and palm oil. These oils are rich in Omega-6.
