Sounds above 90 decibels (like loud traffic, concerts, or high-volume earphones) can damage your hearing permanently.
Most of us don’t realize the risk because hearing loss happens slowly and silently. By the time we notice, it’s often too late.
Here are some tips to protect your ears:
✅ Keep earphone volume below 60%
✅ Follow the 60–60 rule (max 60 minutes at a time, below 60% volume)
✅ Avoid loud places or use ear protection if you can’t
✅ Never insert sharp objects or earbuds deep inside your ear
✅ Get regular ear checkups if you notice buzzing, ringing, or muffled sounds
👂 Your ears don’t heal like your skin or bones — once damaged, the hearing is gone forever.
Take care today so you can enjoy every sound tomorrow
