Gynaecologists should try to follow strict Clinical Guidelines on the various indications and alternatives before deciding on Hysterectomy as the choice of treatment in a patient.
FOGSI has always led from the front in formulating these guidelines and working in sync with the Government.
There is a critical need to monitor and regulate the appropriate indications for Hysterectomy, particularly for benign gynaecological conditions and amongst younger women.
Through this scientific symposium, it is SYNERGY CLUB’S humble endeavour to address these pressing issues related to Regulations in performing Hysterectomies.
