Excelsior is an organisation working towards mental health and increased mental health literacy programs that work in partnership with community and the professionals. Through such programs Mental health professionals at Excelsior serve to increase knowledge of how to get help. With the help of counselling and psychotherapies we at Excelsior help people to overcome their psychological issues like
anxiety, depression, stress, emotional imbalances, social and family adjustment, career decision making, work life balance etc. We develop innovative tools and resources which are designed to promote wellness, reduce stigma, and increase access to community supports, both professional and peer-based. The programs are aimed at increasing belongingness, increasing social connection and self esteem for those who suffer. We also aim at increasing resilience and psychological flexibility as a means to prevent serious mental health problems. The overall purpose is to increase well being and quality for one and for all, irrespective of their mental health status. Every single person can benefit as well as help. Through the use of active engagement, best practice and technology, we inspire people to reach out, get help and give help.
