"Pen And Paper"
By : Aishwarya Biswas
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They were both childhood friends. Actually he was the first friend that she had made in this entire world. Atleast that is what their families had said. Living in the same locality, studying in two different neighbouring schools and sharing the same birth date. They were destined to be best friends.

While growing up together pen and paper were a huge part of their friendship. Passing chits, playing games and he was the one who had a talent of reading and writing. At first they were just simple scribbles that slowly turned into words of love and passion. On the other hand not being the writing type she could only think about cartoons and cheering his team for a cricket match.

His writings were heard and performed at inter school elecutions but he could never read them to her. Unaware of his mutual feelings she started dreaming of being with him. His name is all she could think of and that is what she kept writing over a hundred times on blank papers with colourful pens. Every single time he would place his hand on hers she would feel very special and loved. Their feelings were silently growing but both of them were too scared and least bothered to confess anything.

One day, 'Oh....this idiot will never tell me what does he feel for me? I should let him know.' She thought to herself. So she took out a pen, a paper and scribbled the words 'I love you' on them. As soon as he came to play outside she went and handed over the chit to him. In a very stubborn voice she said, 'Read it, and then you will have to answer my question.' He looked at her in utter confusion and asked, 'What is this? Are you angry with me?'. As he saw that she wasn't in a mood to talk but to make him read the damn thing he opened and read it anyway.

A few seconds of silence and her heart started thumping and jumping inside her chest like an elephant. As he read her feelings on a small piece of paper he started blushing and had spread a wide smile on his face. She saw his face and thought 'Today his dimples are looking extra cute.'

She nervously asked him, 'Do you feel the same way? I have been trying to tell you over a very long time now.' He started walking away with his head down. She held his hand and said 'Hey please don't leave, tell me something. Don't tell me that you hate me for all this.' He turned around and said 'Uh, no...I just need some time to think. I will let you know about my feelings tommorrow.' He went away but she was standing in tears thinking that she had just lost a friend.

On that night both of them couldn't sleep. He was thinking how the equation has changed and she had lost her sleep because she was very angry and sad. The next day they met at the same place as usual. Both of them were standing quietly, then she broke the silence by saying, 'It is ok I don't want to know anything anymore. We can remain friends....' As she was talking, he interrupted and said, 'I am in love with you and wish to marry you someday.' As soon as he had spoken these words people were looking at them, all their local friends, the parents of the other children. That is when she realised that he did propose to her out loud! She ran away into her house as she was embarrassed and couldn't stop blushing. As soon as she entered in her room she took a pen and a paper and wrote her first poem. Maybe she wanted to write because she was in love or just to impress him. Whatever the reason was but her love for him and pen and paper grew to another level. They started writing different colours of emotions with a pen on papers.

That is how she had realised her love for writing. Her love for him made her play with words.

Woman is not a word it is an emotion.
It means Love, it means Sacrifice
It means Pain, it means Life
It is the synonym for all the beautiful emotions you know. 💓

••Another well Known and well ignored fact

Φ More than a Man, a woman treats her fellow woman badly. Φ

~~See around yourself, start from the basic who ill-treat your house maid more...?
Your father or your mother and sister ...? ¿

~~In your school college notice carefully who is jealous of the gorgeous D'souza madam..?¿

You will get many such examples, and we talk about Equality, the fact some where is that even
¤ A Woman Doesn't See another Woman Equally. 🙏

By -Baishali Singh

The time was midnight, a small boy heard scratching at his bedroom door, along with the sound of his dog whining “Ugh…” the boy groaned, getting out of his bed and opening his door, seeing...nothing. The hall was dark and empty, a singular window open down the hall, light from the moon outside shining in through the window, a gentle, cold breese going into the house, the sound of the wind echoing off of the empty walls, no paintings or decorations, just striped, white wallpapers on the walls “Troy….?”
boy says in a small, shaky voice, calling out for his dog as he looks around, thinking the dog had just run back down to his bed in the livingroom, and he then remembered that he had already let his dog into his room earlier in the night, the German Shepard sleeping peacefully on the ground beside the bed, a small shifting coming from the hallway,as a small melody rings through the silent night as the boy turns back to the hall, a small girl in a white dress just...standing there, holding a box in her hand, the source of the tune, her hair covering her face, the boy petrified, unable to move, sweat dripping down from his forehead, he felt cold, lifeless as the girl lifted her head, not even having a face, nothing but a black hole where her facial features would be as she walks down the hall, past the boy as he closes his eyes tight, opening them when nothing happens, seeing that the girl was gone...until the loud, grotesque sound of bones snapping and flesh tearing came from the bedroom, and when the boy turned to look, he saw a puddle of blood...nothing else, covering the floor where the dog once was, traces of the blood on the cieling, fear filling the boy’s heart, gripping at him, unable to breath like a massive python just coiled around his small body as he then wakes up in his bed, laying in a puddle of his own sweat, he felt better knowing it was just a dream...until he hears the same music playing from across the room, his sister was standing there with her antique music box, wondering why her brother was shivering and shouting so much in his sleep “Brother...are you ok?” she asks, the boy smiling at her “I’m fine…” he says, his sister nodding and leaving his room....
Good morning mom, you know Harris was so scared last night, a girl spoke wearing silk white gown.

Come on vanilla, don't be such a dead ringer for the ghost in my dreams. I was more scared to see you, Harris laughed with sarcasm....

Harris went to the bathroom, switched the shower and stood there for while. He couldn't stop thinking about the girl from the dream, and that pecuilar sound. He closed his eyes and went under the shower, it was soothing. The water made him calm, he felt quite relaxed. Suddenly he realised it was not water... ohh holy blessings.. It is blood, he screamed !!!
He rushed to the door k**b , which got stuck. Probably the k**b wasn't working. In his fear with the shaky hands he tried to open the door but doing so he broke the k**b itself. Now he was stuck in the bathroom. The blood from shower started making red patches on the white tiles of bathroom's wall. He switched off the shower, stood there, legs shaking, in fear and confusion. He patted the door very roughly, hoping someone will come to rescue. No one heard him. He got furious and hit hard on the door and injured his wrist. Screamed and sat there on floor with pain, started crying holding his wrist with the other hand. Then he saw blood dripping on his wrist, drop by drop. He raised his head to see the shower, frequency if drop increased and continued, once ag*in the blood shower begun. First he screamed then got numb. He kinda got paralyzed.

Felt water drops on his face, 'wake up you Ass, its bright out there' his sister shouted. Go get freshed, momma's calling.
Harris woke up , ohh gotta be kidding me it was just another bad dream, he sighed. Raised both his hands yawned and aaaahhh my wrist.. It hurts, and hurts very bad....
