ବିଶ୍ୱ ମଧୁମେହ ଦିବସ (ୱାର୍ଲ୍ଡ ଡାଏବେଟିସ୍‌ ଡେ')। ପ୍ରତିବର୍ଷ ନଭେମ୍ବର ୧୪ ତାରିଖକୁ ବିଶ୍ଵ ମଧୁମେହ ଦିବସ ଭାବେ ପାଳନ କରାଯାଏ। ଏହି ରୋଗ ବାବଦରେ ଜନସଚେତନତା ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିବା ହିଁ ଏହି ଦିବସର ମୂଳ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ। ସମଗ୍ର ବିଶ୍ୱରେ ମଧୁମେହ ରୋଗ ଏକ ଜଟିଳ ସମସ୍ୟା ଭାବେ ଦେଖିବାକୁ ମିଳୁଛି। ଏହି ରୋଗରୁ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭାବେ ସୁସ୍ଥ ହେବା ଏକ ପ୍ରକାର ଅସମ୍ଭବ। ହେଲେ ଏହାକୁ ନିୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣରେ ରଖିଲେ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଦୂରାରୋଗ୍ୟରୁ ରକ୍ଷା ମିଳିପାରିବ। ତେଣୁ ଡାଏବେଟିସ୍‌ ରୋଗୀ ନିଜ ଖାଦ୍ୟପେୟରେ ସଞ୍ଜମତା ଆଣିବା ଦରକାର। ତେବେ ଡାଏବେଟିସ୍‌ ରୋଗୀ କେଉଁ ଭଳି ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଖାଇବେ? ବ୍ରେକ୍‌ଫାଷ୍ଟ, ଲଞ୍ଚ ଓ ରାତିରେ କ’ଣ ଖାଇବା ଆବଶ୍ୟକ। ସେନେଇ ଡାଏଟିସିଆନ୍‌ ଅନ୍ମୟୀ ନନ୍ଦ କ’ଣ କହୁଛନ୍ତି, ଆସନ୍ତୁ ଜାଣିବା।
