We all know that radiotherapy (or radiation therapy) is vital for curing cancer, alleviating symptoms, and improving quality of life.

Access to radiotherapy is directly linked to improved survival for many cancers.

World Radiotherapy Awareness Day(WRAD) is observed to emphasize the importance of Radiothetapy treatment in cancer care and create awareness for the same.

The theme for WRAD for next three years is “One Voice for Radiotherapy”,which starts on 7th September 2025, the date the first patient was treated on a linear accelerator.

Family members and close relatives play a vital part in the journey of cancer care…it takes a lot to accept the diagnosis and plan bravely for the treatment ahead and follow-up thereafter..

We,as care-givers often get the opportunity to play a small role in the journey…but the impact of care is enhanced by able support from patients(warriors) close support group…

Though the outcome is not in our control,but surely the intent from a care-givers perspective is always pure and for betterment of the warriors condition…

Words of appreciation from our brave warriors act as boost to continue our service and enhance our patient care..
