Prostate swelling is not a disease in itself, but it can be a symptom or sign of an underlying condition. The prostate is a gland located in the male reproductive system, and its enlargement or swelling can be caused by a variety of conditions, including:

Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH): This is a non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate gland that commonly occurs in older men.

Prostatitis: This is an inflammation of the prostate gland that can cause swelling, pain, and difficulty urinating.

Prostate cancer: This is a malignant growth of cells in the prostate gland that can cause swelling and other symptoms.

Therefore, it is important to see a healthcare provider if you experience any symptoms related to prostate swelling to determine the underlying cause and receive appropriate treatment.

What is a Horner's syndrome?
Horner’s syndrome is a rare condition that affects the face. Symptoms typically affect only one side of the face, and may include a drooping eyelid, a constricted pupil, and the absence of facial sweating.
Horner’s syndrome occurs due to a interruption anywhere along the sympathetic nerve pathway from the brain to the face. Medical professionals may refer to Horner’s syndrome as oculosympathetic palsy or Bernard-Horner syndrome
Horner’s syndrome is a rare condition, affecting approximately 1 in 6,000Trusted Source people. According to a 2022 article, the condition can affect people of any age or ethnicity.
Interference with the sympathetic nerves that connect the brain and the face causes Horner’s syndrome.
The sympathetic nerves are part of the autonomic nervous system. Driven by epinephrine, these nerves involuntarily control many body functions, especially during stressful episodes when the body enters the “fight-or-flight” mode.

The use of multiple prescription drugs, known as polypharmacy, is associated with an increased risk of adverse reactions and interactions between different drugs.
Studies suggest that polypharmacy is associated with an increased risk of dementia.
A recent study characterizing patterns of polypharmacy before a dementia diagnosis showed that patterns of medication use became increasingly similar as subjects approached the date of diagnosis.
The results represent a step toward understanding the role of prescription patterns in the development of dementia and optimizing medication use to reduce the risk of drug-drug interactions. Studies suggest that the simultaneous use of multiple medications is associated with an increased risk of dementia.
But the patterns of medication use in older adults before the diagnosis of dementia are not well-characterized

Wrong diet is the only one factor in the process of degeneration and disease, says Charak Samhita.
" Whatever living beings live on earth, truly they are born from. Food, also they remain active on food alone, and in the same way they return to it at the end. Food is the first among all to be created and is said to be the primary medicine of mankind. All creatures and human alike are born by food, grow by food and in the end become food. Everybody consumes it and it consumes all. Therefore it is regarded as food.".........(Tattariya Upanishad)

YOGA -HOW IT CORRECTS THE DIGESTIVE SYSTEM
====================================
Every one must be aware of the digestive fluids secreted from different glands in the stomach which is one of the principal agents of our digestive process. But not everyone is aware of the alimentary canal which is like a tube set in our body which starts from our mouth to a**s measuring roughly 32 feet. The process of digestion starts in our mouth when it is mixed with saliva and ends with rejected wastes leaving our body at a**s point. This process is called digestive process. The process includes an evolution process and involves a consecutive process with assimilation of foods and fluids along with the absorption of necessary proteins, vitamins, minerals, carbo contents into the cells consequently rejection of waste through a**s.
Hence digestive problem occurs when we take food through mouth, pharynx, and oseophagus.
Enzymes, acids, and other chemicals are secreted to breakdown the food into particles starting from mouth to intestine.
Water, small soluble units, food breakdown particles are absorbed in small intestine mainly and some enter into large intestine.
The absorbed food passes on to be transported through blood ducts and united with the cells for generation of energy.
Undigested food mainly consists of toxic substances which are excreted through excretory organ at the end of large intestine.

Why the process goes wrong:-
This transportation of food in the alimentary canal is a smooth flowing continuation; each part being dependant on the other for evolution. If one of the agents malfunctions or in disorder state, the process of evolution is disturbed it results in indigestion which requires medical attention. The whole organism is integrated and interdependent and if one of the organs fails the whole body is at stake. The mouth , stomach, and intestine are main organs which classifies, integrates the food and finally excrete. So any disorder in these three amounts to bad health.

What Ayurveda says:-
Ayurveda regards food as the main resource of living beings for birth, growth and flourish. Food nourishes the body. The toxic contents are excreted or expelled in a natural manner if "TRIDOSHA" are kept at bay. The Tridoshas are Kapha, Pita and Vata.

Kapha dosha:-
Kapha is best known as phylum or mucus, which moves the limbs, saves bones from cracking, activates joints and binds the organs for proper functioning. The balance is maintained in the exactness of mucus production. Excess or inadequate content of mucus results in various illnesses.
Pita is best known as bile or Gul is closely related to temperament. It is the fire that helps in food digestion. It is the trigger point of emotions, fear, joy, anger. The excess or inadequacy of Pita results in mood swing, indigestion and other various illnesses. It requires a balanced state.
Vata is best described as wind. According to Vedic science there are pancha pranas or five types of Vayus. As wind is an essential item for all living mechanism in this world the same is called PRANA VAYU or the vital wind which helps breathing and all living beings breathe to exist otherwise, they die. The body is divided into 5 parts and each part corresponds to the particular Vayu
1. Āpana vayu, which corresponds from perineum to naval reason
2. Samana- From naval to hearth
3. Prana:- From heart to throat
4. Udana:- It corresponds to extreme ends like head, legs and hands.
5:- Vyana:- It pervades the whole body.
According to Atharva Veda from which Hatha yoga is derived categorizes 108 Pranavayus flowing through 72000 nadis. Much research is needed for a deep study and experiment on these facts as it has been passed over from past scholars to our present age. Charaka Samhita elucidated the rudimentary angle involved in the body system which is half way through. Many angles need to be unraveled in the present scenario.
Food and nutrients converse into thought and thought reciprocated action. So basically food intake matters much. The vitamins, nutrients, carbohydrates, protein, and minerals should be in balanced state in a healthy body. Excess or inadequacy results in disastrous body conditions. A push switch is pushed to light a house and again pushed to put off the light, so it is the single agent for light and darkness. Similar is the function of these trigger points which needs a balanced state.

How indigestion can be resolved:-
First one has to go through dietary schedule and next is yogic angle to resolve the issue.
Let us start with dietary suggestions. In the beginning we should start with foods those are to be avoided. Denatured foods like white floor, white bread, buns, white polished rice, white sugar, jams, jellies, sweets, cold drinks, liquor, saturated fats and acids of animal origin, deep fried, canned and tinned food with artificial preservatives, sweetners should be summarily avoided. Always be aware of the prints on the wrapper while purchasing packaged food or raw material for food preparation. Read the benefits and adversaries and then purchase.
Brown floor( floor with chokad) , cornflour bread, partially polished rice, honey for sweetening, brown sugar, filtered jaggery, fresh fruit and all vegetables should be taken moderately in wide intervals. Seasonal fruits are best for our body because it is a natural product of the same environment and atmosphere where we live in. Vegetables and fruits should be scrubbed to do away with the dirt and chemicals around it. Peeling off the skin should be avoided. Always adopt to steaming the food than frying it. In case of meat, always try to get rid of fat at the washing stage. Also do not deep fry it. Try to take steamed meat by adding water and cooking. Deep frying always decreases the food value and animal fat in meat increases danger of cardiovascular vascular complications. Oil and ghee should be used in moderate quantity. Use moderate salt. Excess use will attract too much water. No extra salt should be taken in lunch or dinner. Do not over cook and serve warm. Keep the meal simple. More the items, more the salt intake and more crisscross assimilation is in the stomach which spends more energy for digestion. Taking food 4 times a day is normal. Never go excess . The intake should be in 3/4 hour intervals. Blood flow becomes scattered throughout the body while we take bath. So avoid bathing just before or after food. Chew every bit of mouthful while eating. Concentrate on food not on TV or mobile. Only take 1/3 of the stomach. Take one or two gulps of water after food. Take a glass of water later. Normally an individual takes 3/4 litres a day. Stick to it. Try to avoid food at least once in a month for 24 hours. It is a rest for the system.

Yogic Treatment of indigestion:-
Digestive disorders can be easy to be treated through yoga. Why? Because it is a direct pointer to the malfunctioning organ. Through yoga you can reach the root cause directly to heal. With a strong will with unbreakable determination and combined with continuous efforts yoga can heal the indigestion. But it is always a change of life style from sedentary to active.
Yogic exercises should be moderately done depending upon your sustainability. Never try the hard way. It should be practiced on empty stomach on a clean hard floor with a yogasana mat spread on it. The room should be well ventilated. Before taking meal your sympathetic nervous system must be dominant. Perform Padadhirasana to activate sympathetic nervous system by flow of air through right nostril. While eating try to sit in sukhasana so that the body will be at ease. After meal take to Bajrasana.
There are some very easy going asanas for inclusion in daily practicing which can be very helpful to treat indigestion.

Five reasons of obesity and how to overcome it:-
Obesity occurs when a person's BMI remains 20/25 points higher. The repercussions of obesity range from serious to getting bed ridden in extreme cases. It brings serious health complications like cholesterol, CKD, muscle pain, backache, gastroentritis, blood pressure, knee and foot problem which are not at all curable if the underlying causes of obesity are not resolved.
The six underlying causes of obesity
1. Intake of calories:-
Obesity is caused due to more intake of calories and less output in terms of calories expenses. The energy value of food is measured in units called calories. The average physically active man needs about 2,500 calories a day to maintain a healthy weight, and the average physically active woman needs about 2,000 calories a day.

2.Poor diet:-
Poor diets are mostly with less food values. Foods decode the amount of calories intake. Supposing you take a hamburger, fries and a milkshake, it can total to 1,500 calories – and that's just 1 meal. Because you have to take more than this throughout the day. Poor diet is the main cause of higher calories intake. It never happens on a single day or overnight
Unplanned diet, lack of exact nutrition, lack of fibrous food cause obesity during a longer course of period. One has to know the place where one lives, the environments, atmosphere which decides a person's gins and hormones. Western foods like Pizza, Hamburger, French potato which contain less food value in terms of our genetic behavior. These foods carry lower food value as we are oriental Indians who are genetically accustomed to carbohydrate, balanced protein. Sugar and salt both sodium and potassium intake should be balanced to live healthy life style which reduces obesity.
1. Avoid large amount of processed / fast food
2. No alcohol intake
3. Eating upto 2/3rd of the stomach
4. Less sugar and salt intake
5. No over eating. Some people take light food every half an hour to one hour. This is due to gastroentrical problems. It is better to go for Ayurvedic medicine as it is more effective than others
6. Comfortable sitting habits while eating. Never watch TV or mobile while taking food. It may result in indigestion
3. Genetics:-
Genes influence almost all aspects of human metabolism, it's development, and adaptation. Obesity is no exception. But little is known regarding the specific genes that contribute to obesity and the genetic environment. Several recent studies show that obesity is caused by several genetic factors that are responsible for very rare, single-gene forms of obesity. Emerging research has also begun to identify the genetic underpinnings of so-called common obesity, which is influenced by dozens, if not hundreds, of genes. In addition, research into the relationship between certain foods and obesity is shedding more light on the interaction between diet, genes, and obesity. Furthermore environmental factors influence humans which is also a genetic factor as studied. Seeing others eat rich and sumptuous foods, remaining aloof, non communication inferiority complex subscribes to the genetic disorder. But genetic disposition created by genome mutations are inexplicably low rather created by external factors. These external factors can be taken care as genetic obese is not your destiny.
4. Medical resons:-
According to WHO the "rates of overweight and obesity continue to grow in adults and children. From 1975 to 2016, the prevalence of overweight or obese children and adolescents aged 5–19 years increased more than four-fold from 4% to 18% globally. Obesity is one side of the double burden of malnutrition, and today more people are obese than underweight in every region except sub-Saharan Africa and Asia"
In some cases obesity is a medical condition, sometimes considered a disease, in which abnormal or excess body fat has accumulated to such an extent that it may have a negative effect on health. But it is not always synonymous with overweight. Medical complications like cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes, obstructive sleep apnea, certain types of cancer, osteoarthritis, depression can be the triggering factors.
Some medicines that may cause weight gain include: Medicines for diabetes, such as insulin, thiazolidinediones, and sulfonylureas. Antipsychotic medicines such as haloperidol, clozapine, risperidone, olanzapine, quetiapine, and lithium. Gaining weight results in little physical activity and sometimes is followed by craze for food which influences gins and results in obesity.
5. Lack of physical exercise:-
In today's world Yoga has become an unresistible phenomenon as far as its use in healing rather than going to Gym. No doubt gyms are calorie burners and noted for toxin expulsion. But the major difference between the two are :-
• Yoga regulates blood circulation and is a pacifier of BP which is the by product of obesity, while Gym centres on muscle building and perspiration, so that excess calorie is burned so that fat cells subsides the body. But fails to heal the body.
• Yoga can be a supplement to the drugs taken for type II diabetis, which is common in India which postulates certain Asanas, which re ignites pancreas to function in the usual way so that sugar in blood stream is absorbed in cells.
• Yoga can bring perspiration if "Surya Namaskar" postulation is practiced at least a dozen times daily, which is a sure shot medicine for obesity. 50 no.s of Surya Namaskars daily for 3 months is prescribed in extreme obese cases. On the other hand gym depends on the station type method of muscle building which requires rigorous practice and loss of calorie which brings craze for food, which detrimental in case of obese patients.
• Yoga makes a person calm and concentrated, keeps mind fresh, whereas Gym goers are exhausted throughout the day unless adequate eating and sleeping is not maintained. Years of Gym going results in withdrawal symptoms when discontinued. Mostly sports persons are prey to different critical conditions which irrecoverable. Instead of Gym aerobic exercises like running and cycling combined with Yoga brings overall effect on the metabolic system.
