Nasal Polyps

Symptoms
• Nasal blockage / stuffy nose

Nosebleed (Epistaxis) – 🩸

Getting frequent nasal bleeding?
Most nosebleeds are not dangerous and can be managed easily.

Common causes:
• Dry air / winter season
• Nose picking or injury
• Cold, allergy, sinus infection
• High blood pressure
• Blood-thinning medicines

What to do immediately:
✔ Sit upright and lean forward
✔ Pinch the soft part of the nose for 10 minutes
✔ Apply cold compress over nose
❌ Don’t tilt head backward

When to see an ENT doctor:
⚠ Repeated nosebleeds
⚠ Bleeding lasting >20 minutes
⚠ Nosebleed with high BP or trauma

ENT tip: Keep nasal passages moist with saline spray.
