The Department of Pediatric Dentistry, Hi-Tech Dental College, organized a state-level program on Conscious Sedation, introducing the CONSED machine—approved for clinical use and set to transform pediatric dental care in Odisha.

Mr. Suresh Kumar Panigrahi, Managing Trustee, Hi-Tech Group of Institutions, was the Chief Guest. The expert session was led by Dr. Shipra Jaidka, Professor and Head, Department of Pediatric Dentistry, DJ Dental College, Meerut (Delhi-NCR).

The event drew over 100 delegates, including dental professionals from across the state, and was attended by the Principal, Hi-Tech Dental College and Hospital, and the Secretary, Indian Dental Association, Odisha State Branch, making it an enriching academic platform.

*World No To***co Day Observed by Hi-Tech Dental College & Hospital in accosiatiin with Indian Dental Association, Odisha State Branch*

On the occasion of World No To***co Day, the Indian Dental Association (IDA), Odisha State Branch and Hi-Tech Debtal College & Hospital organized an impactful awareness campaign under the leadership of, in prescence of esteemed Principal Prof. (Dr.) Sangram Patro and Vice Principal and Hon’ble Secretary Dr. Subash Chandra Nayak IDA Odisha at the auditorium of Hi-Tech Dental College.

The event featured a series of engaging activities, including a sketch competition and a debate competition, aimed at spreading awareness about the harmful effects of to***co. Prizes were distributed to the winners, encouraging participation and creativity among the students.

A significant highlight of the event was the pledge to achieve a To***co-Free Odisha by 2030, initiated with the declaration of Hi-Tech Dental College as a To***co-Free Campus — marking the first step towards this visionary goal.

The program was graced and supported by several dignitaries, including IDA CDE Chairman Dr. Swagat Panda, IDA Vice President Dr. Subha Soumya Danny, IDA CDH Chairman Dr.Ankit Mohapatra and IDA Assistant Secretary Dr. Sheetal Kumar Sahoo, whose presence added strength and momentum to the campaign.
