Feel elated and humbled to share that we performed the first ever ASD Device closure in Bhuj (and probably in Kutch as well) last week. A 50 years old lady, hailing from a Suburb in Mumbai, came to us during The Mega Medical Camp organised by Shree Kutchi Leva Patel Medical and Education trust in December 2023. She was diagnosed with Ostium Secundum Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) since 3 years and was awaiting Closure. After thorough Evaluation, She underwent successful per cutaneous device closure under GA and Trans Esophageal Echocardiography guidance at K K Patel Superspeciality Hospital as a part of free treatment under the Mega Medical Camp conducted in December 2023 …
