Today's Step # 2 of 6 Steps for Massive Transformation Results.

Hope you enjoyed Step # 1 - Create time for Yourself And protect it.

Now our next important step is to -

# Move Well and move often And Recover - for the sheer joy of being Alive...

Once you have learned to create time for yourself, then utilise those tiny precious pockets of time for the Movement aka Exercise and Recovery.

As you need to Stress your body with exercise so you need to recover it well, to Stay Fit and Lean.

But before you start, see if you have any limitations while doing some movements. And consult the expert if necessary.

***** We, here at ForceOne Gym and create sound plans for many people with such limitations and take them to the point where they feel little or no pain while moving. *****

You can start with some simple body weight exercises such as squats, push-up, pull up, bear crawling, dog bird, breathing drills such as fetal position breathing, ribs down breathing or split squat deep breathing, standing march, OR you can go for walking, swimming, hiking, biking whatever you like and enjoy. The point is to get started.

And the second part of today's post is - RECOVERY.

Recovery is our body's mechanics to fight stress both - physical and mental - to restore it to the baseline and make it stronger to further handle the additional stress.

Good recovery means HAPPY You.

There are numerous ways our body and mind can recover well.

First and foremost important is Your SLEEP.

Deep sleep ensures our bodies recover from the stress and resets all our internal functions back to normalcy.

It isn't surprising that many lifestyle diseases such as high BP, diabetes, atherosclerosis and heart disorders are likely to occur more in people who have lack of sleep for various reasons.

So just get into your bed and go for snoooze.

Create atmospheres that induce calm and sound sleep. Listen to the soothing music, meditate OR read books. And yes stay away from all the electronic devices at night.

Other way to recover our body from the stress is - MASSAGE.

Massage helps to calm down your PARASYMPATHETIC Nervous System which in turn helps you become Strong emotionally and mentally. Prepares you to take sound decisions in stressful situations.

It releases the Feel Good hormones - necessary to keep you happy and LEAN.

Meditation is another very powerful way of Recovery. Start doing it and feel the difference for yourself.

Gentle walking, playing with your kids, pursuing your hobbies are few of those things that help you recover fast.

Recovery is the phase when our body gets STRONGER, keeps body fat low, builds muscle mass and resets all the hormonal activities inside us.

Starting today, for the next 6 Sundays, I will share with you all - simple, easy, doable and incredible important strategies to help you GROW in your health and fitness levels.

Let's start.....

STEP # 1 -

CREATE TIME for Yourself.

This is by far the most important thing you can do for yourself in this NEW YEAR.

Nobody will give you the time required to get the results you wish for.. Life is busy, I know you are busy but same with me. We have got Life, and it has got it's crazy things going on for all of us.

You will have to create small pockets of time in your 24 hours. We all get the same amount of time everyday. Period. It's upto us how we utilise those important 24 hours each day.

Everyone wishes to get in better shape and improve their health, but it requires patience and time. It won't be a magic trick which will dramatically see you to your results.

You will have to keep practicing daily rituals. In spite of you feel motivated or not.

+++Action first, motivation later+++

Because small, tiny deliberate acts of keeping you healthy will automatically lead to the very MOTIVATION we all keep searching for. But sadly, it's the other way round. Action first.

Look for a small window of opportunity, where you can sit by yourself, no distractions. Create at least 10 - 20 minutes each day just for yourself.

If you can find those pockets of time, high five yourself. Just think ONLY about having some small amount of time, strictly for yourself.

Make it a point that, the time you create for yourself, you make it a very important Appointment with yourself. Protect it like a berserk. It's only YOU time.

If you are a master you will find more than 30 minutes every day for yourself.

Write down how you are spending your 24 hours, analyse where you are wasting your time. Maybe you can skip that TV episode or some YouTube/ FB binge. Or you can see less of your gossiping with friends.

It's always a choice between the two. You can't get to do both at the same time. Make a choice that will create a difference for YOU and your Furure-self will thank you for doing that.

Okay, but what to do with the time you created for yourself.

Maybe you can....

1) go for a small walk / stroll
2) play with your children
3) go for a swim / cycling
4) read some health / Nutrition article
5) prepare for the gym by getting your gym gear in place.

Whatever you choose to do, make sure you DO IT. Daily. Everyday.

This begins a very important process of change leaving impressions on our brains about the changes we are bringing in.

Chase the daily small rituals, Not the Results.

I promise you will get them if you focus on the right things one day at a time.

Keep doing this, be creative, work on yourself, FOR yourself.
