Ocular Trauma is quiet common. Blunt as well as perforating. Operated two cases back to back at interval of 2 days only.

(01) 1st case got trauma of his right eye while rapping some materials with cycle with rubber with metal hook at end. That hook didn't get hooked at their place and bounced back with great velocity resulting in right eye superior scleral perforation with uveal tissue prolapse with no perception of light. Operated under nil visual prognosis.

(02) 2nd case got trauma of his left eye while hitting his bike with still tractor with helmet in the hand not on the head. Resulting in corneal perforation with sclera perforation with uveal tissue prolapse with intact PL and PR accurate.
Operated under guarded visual prognosis.

Moral of these two cases is
> always wear your helmet on your head while driving bike or two Wheeler vehicle. They will protect your brain & eyes, most vital organs of human body.

> Be conscious while doing dangerous work like hooking rubber with bike, while buring fire cracker, while doing grinding works. Chances of eye injury is maximum during These scnerios.

On this occassion of 5th anniversary, we have requested our most eldest patient Mr Rajendra Prasad, 92 years old,to cut the cake, who underwent cataract surgery for his left eye with Phacoemulsification technique yesterday. His cataract was quite challenging case.(mature senile cataract).surgery underwent uneventful after taking all precautions. Today on 1st post-op day, he gained vision of 6/24.
Few thing i want to highlight about his life at age of 92.He is on pacemaker due to his heart condition. At this age, he is physically fit without any medications. His life is quite inspiring, sharing to others people to get inspired.
