First time in Vijayapura, a case of REVISION KNEE REPLACEMENT SURGERY, operated by Dr Sandeep Dixit (Knee replacement surgeon, visiting from Bangalore), Dr Preetish Endigeri (Orthopedic Surgeon) and Dr Meenal Agarwal (Anesthetist), a 67 female , had her left knee replacement done 7 yrs back at belgavi, started getting pain since 1 year, severe pain since 2 months. Infection ruled out and she underwent single stage revision knee replacement surgery yesterday at AYUSH Hospital , Vijayapura. She is recovering well and made to walk after such complex surgery the very next day. Kudos to the entire team, our OT staff specially Satish.

One year back and young adult was brought to us from Hubli with severe head injury in Coma, he was operated by our team and Dr Hitendra Naik, neurosurgeon, he was in coma for 25 days and even after regaining consciousness he was not recognizing any relative, he was in ICU for 45 days and a total 3 months of hospitalization with only speaking few words, over the time he started talking and walking step by step with our physiotherapy team, his family was very supportive to him, especially his wife. Like a miracle he is fully fit and has joined his work for last 3 months, he leads a team of 10 or more people at Railways, now he is on a single pill daily and he is here with me in this pic, so glad to see him fully recovered from such a devastating state. I thank all our Ayush Hospital team for their efforts.
