We are delighted to announce that four students secured placements through this opportunity:

Students showcased their skills through oral and poster presentations, along with a rangoli competition, reinforcing creativity, awareness, and responsibility in pharmacy practice.

The School of Management & Commerce at Vivek University has successfully commenced a two-day, 10-hour Certification Program on Financial Literacy under the initiative “Kona Kona Shiksha”.

Day 1 featured insightful sessions by Dr. Rachit Agarwal (Entrepreneur, Founder & CEO of UR Services & Advisable Digital, SEBI SMART Trainer, and NISM Corporate Trainer), who introduced students to the fundamentals of financial literacy, personal financial planning, and investment awareness.

Through interactive discussions and practical case examples, participants explored the importance of savings, budgeting, and informed decision-making - gaining tools to apply these concepts in real-life scenarios.

The program aims to strengthen student understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and regulatory mechanisms, with Day 2 focusing on advanced financial management and hands-on applications.

First-year BAMS students presented their reflections on timeless Ayurvedic wisdom from Charak Samhita and Ashtanga Hridaya, covering themes like Chikitsa Chatushpad (four pillars of treatment), Dinacharya (daily regimen), and Ritucharya (seasonal discipline).

The celebration not only deepened student understanding of classical texts but also highlighted the continuing relevance of Ayurveda in leading a balanced and healthy life.

Vivek University observed World Ozone Day (16 September 2025) with a meaningful tree plantation drive on campus. Hon’ble Chancellor led the initiative by planting a Harishankari tree group - a sacred triad of Peepal, Banyan, and Pakad trees symbolising Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiva, and Lord Brahma.

Students from M.Sc. Botany and B.Sc. Microbiology actively joined in the plantation, reinforcing the importance of environmental balance and sustainability.

The celebration reflected Vivek University’s commitment to protecting the ozone layer and nurturing a healthier planet for future generations.

The program underscored the pharmacist’s frontline role in timely ADR reporting and safer, more effective use of medicines, with enthusiastic participation from students and faculty.
