To all Respected Doctors of IMA,
We (AYUSH Doctors) belong to Complementary & Alternative System of Medicine (CAM). We are here to complement Main Stream of Medicine (Modern Medicine/Allopathy). There is no point of denying the importance and utility of Emergency and Modern Medicine and we don't deny that too. We don't oppose the treatment protocol developed by ICMR/WHO for COVID 19. We just advise people to use AYUSH protocol and dietary protocol along with the Protocol given by ICMR/WHO.
India is the second largest populated country in the world and we have limited resources for general people. There are crores of people which are devoid of modern medicine facilities. AYUSH system proved to be beneficial clinically in many conditions and is playing the role as "Main stream of Medicine" for such population groups.
So, I request all the Doctors/Researchers/Scientists of Conventional System of Medicine to focus on this critical situation of Pandemic and move ahead towards an integrated approach of Medical System.
We must use our intellectual mind in fighting this pandemic and working for the welfare of our Society instead of getting involved in Political issues related to medicine.

It is mandatory for all COVID-19 patients to follow the AYUSH protocol and dietary protocol to boost their immunity even after getting their RT-PCR negative.
Patients having some or the other Co-morbidities must follow the regime atleast for 6 months.
