We WOMEN are constant caregiver, nurturer and supporter of all those we know and love. We are amazing at this job. We juggle all the balls and miraculously take care of everyone and everything! ❤️

What we don’t seem to be quite as good at is looking after ourself! I bet that most of the time SELF-NURTURING and PRIORITISING OUR OWN HEALTH & WELL- BEING takes the back seat for commitment to our family, work and community. 💕

Yes, we always overlook this aspect. ❌
On Women’s Day, the first thing that comes to our mind is this—we painted WELL-BEING & SELF-CARE. We should take out time for ourselves and prioritise us little bit more. 💯🎉

✔️Kidney beans & (Rajma) are rich in prebiotics and good for gut health. It is also a plant based source of protein, rich in antioxidants, iron and fibre.

✔️Lowers the Risk of Gestational Diabetes.

✔️The abundant amount of magnesium relieves fatigue by relaxing blood vessels, muscles and nerves during pregnancy.

✔️Reduces Bile Acids and that helps to eliminate morning sickness & nausea.

✔️Regularise the blood cholesterol level during pregnancy.

✔️Prevents Joint pain & Muscle Soreness.

Now few thumb rules for women 🤰⬇️

👉🏻 Rajma or kidney beans should be well cooked and then eaten.

👉🏻You can have 1-2 bowls of kidney beans per day, 3-4 times a week.

👉🏻Soak them overnight before cooking them the next day to reduce the gas formation.

👉🏻Use fresh Rajma. As canned Rajma contain excess sodium and preservatives & BPA.

👉🏻Have it along with rice/roti.

SOCIAL GATHERINGS Always Challenge Mindful Eating⁉️

Sound familiar? 🤔
well, You’re not alone. We all know what it’s like to mindlessly graze, only to unconsciously consume an entire day’s worth of calories in a few hours. Between the socializing, the music and the energy, it can be all too easy to lose sight of mindful eating. 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

However, making better dietary choices is achievable. If you wanna do so.. ✅ 👇

✔️Eat before you leave. Yes, fill up on some fruit or healthy snack like chana, makhana etc.

✔️ Share a dish with another person, or taking some food home.

✔️ For munching select a salads, nuts, cheese, or plain baked, grilled items with salsa instead of chips, fries, coleslaw, or other extras.

✔️ Avoid Cocktails, Mock tails, High sugary drinks, Fruit juice and Sodas. Prefer limited Hard & Soft drinks with ice or water.

✔️Focus one at a time. Like you need not to all four course meals since beginning. If you’re enjoying your drink then you can simply cut down your sweet tooth in the last.

✔️ Indulge selectively, Eat slowly & Drink water in between.

P.s.! Remember, when you make the effort to connect with each of these aspects, you’ll be able to eat, drink and be merry in the most mindful way possible. 💕
