14-year-old male came with complaints of severe pain and swelling in the left knee. He sustained a twisting injury to his left knee while playing football with his friends on the field. He was diagnosed with ACL Avulsion fracture left knee and was managed Arthroscopically with fixation of fracture with fiber wire and Endo-button.

About ACL Injury:
Avulsion fractures of tibial spine leading to discontinuity of anterior cruciate ligament fibers has been uncommon but well described in literature in both paediatric and adult populations These fractures are also called tibial eminence fractures or ACL avulsion fractures. These injuries are commonly seen in children aged between 8-14 years and are usually sports related injuries. In adults, these injuries are commonly related to high energy trauma, usually road traffic accidents, and have a high incidence of associated injuries. The cause of increased incidence amongst children is hypothesized as being secondary to relative weakness of incompletely ossified tibial eminence compared to native ACL fibers.
A torn ACL significantly increases the risk of developing osteoarthritis in the knee.
Recurrent knee instability (giving way) is a major problem after an ACL injury, impacting activity and quality of life.
ACL injuries can lead to decreased activity levels, depression and other psychiatric conditions, and a poorer quality of life due to pain, instability, and functional limitations.
Operation under arthroscopy helps diagnose and treat other complications inside knee joint, merely resulting in slight injury. In addition, early functional exercise contributes to rapid recovery of knee joint's functions.

56 yrs female had a trivial fall at home on sliding surface and sustained a Supination and exorotation (Weber B/ OTA 44B3.3) injury to left ankle leading to comminuted transsyndesmotic fibula fracture with Displaced fracture medial malleolus and comminuted displaced fracture posterior malleolus left with anterior subluxation of tibia with gross swelling and blisters. She was managed initially with stabilization of ankle joint with external fixator. After 2 weeks once her swelling and skin condition improved she was operated upon for the above diagnosis using postero-lateral approach with ORIF distal fibula plating using gold surface plate and screws. Through same approach posterior malleolus was buttress with 1/3rd tubular titanium plate and screws. And medial malleolus was fixed with CC screw and washer.

An 85 yrs male patient, was suffering with hip fracture (Fracture neck of femur) since 2 months, was bed ridden and in pain. He came to our hospital from Bhagalpur. He was operated with Uncemented Total Hip Replacement. With in 18 hrs post surgery he was up and walking with support.
