Bichom, 26th December: Honorable Member of Legislative Assembly (HMLA) of the 6th Thirizino-Buragaon ST Constituency, Shri Kumsi Sidisow, inaugurated Seva Aapke Dwar (SAD) 2.0 and Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) at Bichum in the Sinchung Subdivision of West Kameng District.

While inaugurating the events, he emphasized the government’s objective of organizing SAD and VBSY camps.

Sidisow also appealed to government officials, PRI leaders, and other concerned stakeholders to ensure that government benefits reach the grassroots level.

More than 700 beneficiaries from Bichom, Sacida, Lichini, and Ditching villages benefited from the camps.

Rupa, 15th Dec: Honourable Minister of Environment and Forest, Shri Mama Natung graced the 3rd Edition of Eagle Nest Bird Festival in Rupa town, West Kameng District, as the chief guest. Accompanying him were Jitendra Kumar (PCCF), Shri Milo Tassar (IFS), Special Guest Shri Jadav Payeng (Padma Shri Awardee, also known as Forest Man), Shri Tseten Chombay (National Executive Member, S.T, Morcha, BJP), DC Bomdila, ADC Rupa, SP Bomdila, former RWD minister Shri D.K Thongdok, and other dignitaries.

Natung encouraged students and villagers to plant trees extensively. He expressed gratitude to the Sherdukpen and Bugun communities for embracing the theme of preserving nature on a large scale.

Jitendra Kumar, PCCF, extended heartfelt thanks to the organizing team and Minister Mama Natung for their dedicated efforts in nature protection, including initiatives like the Airgun Surrender Abhiyan.
