Inauguration of National Service Scheme Special Residential Shram Sanskar Camp at Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy, Buldhana
Buldhana: The inauguration of the Special Residential Shram Sanskar Camp organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy, Buldhana was held with great enthusiasm and inspiration. The camp has been organized with the objective of developing a sense of social responsibility, leadership qualities, and service among students through various community-oriented activities.
On this occasion, Mr. Ranjitsingh Rajput from Good Evening City graced the program as the Chief Guest, while the program was presided over by the Principal of the college, Dr. Shirish Jain. The event was also attended by Deputy Sarpanch Sanjay Dhondu Khaivan, Mr. Harshal Adve, Police Patil Devidas Adve, Dr. Shailesh Kewatkar, Dr. Ashish Gawai, and Dr. Deepak Bhusari.
The program began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and the worship of the portrait of social reformer Sant Gadge Baba by the dignitaries. This was followed by the presentation of the NSS song and the felicitation of the guests with shawls, coconuts, and bouquets.
On the occasion of International WomenтАЩs Day, all the women faculty members of the college were felicitated in recognition of their valuable contributions to the field of education and the overall development of students. On this occasion, Prof. Manisha Jawale, Prof. Dwiptesha Dahake, Prof. Megha Dalvi, and Prof. Meena Bhalake were present.
NSS Program Officer Mr. Rohit Salkute then presented the introduction of the camp and elaborated on its objectives. He emphasized the importance of understanding rural issues and encouraged students to actively contribute to village development through community service, awareness programs, and voluntary work.
During the program, NSS volunteers who represented Maharashtra State and won a Gold Medal in the Inter-State Youth Exchange Program held in Jharkhand were specially felicitated. Principal Dr. Shirish Jain and the dignitaries honored Vikram Munjewar, Kalaj Gawali, Pranav Dongardive, Janhavi Gadhe, Sakshi Shengde, Tejas Phadke, and Ragini Avhad for their remarkable achievement.
While addressing the students, Chief Guest Mr. Ranjitsingh Rajput encouraged them to actively participate in social initiatives in the adopted village Malvihir and gain practical experiences that would contribute to their personal and social development.
In his presidential address, Principal Dr. Shirish Jain motivated the students by stating that the National Service Scheme is not just an activity but a movement that shapes responsible citizens. He urged the volunteers to conduct various awareness and development activities in the village. These include Medicine Waste Management, Cleanliness Drives, Plastic Waste Management, Cyber Crime Awareness, Women Empowerment, De-addiction Campaigns, Water Management, Health Check-up Camps, and Voter Awareness Programs.
The theme of this yearтАЩs camp is тАЬMy Waste тАУ My ResponsibilityтАЭ, focusing on environmental awareness and responsible waste management in society. This Special Residential Shram Sanskar Camp is being conducted from March 8 to March 15 in the adopted village Malvihir, where NSS volunteers will carry out several social, educational, and health-related activities.
The program was compered by Pranjali Mapari and Aditya Raut, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Nikita Mogal. The program concluded with the National Anthem.
