We at Institute of Child Health pause to honour the unparalleled courage and sacrifice of the Indian Army.

Their historic victory on the icy peaks of Kargil was not just a defence of our borders, but a promise of a safe and secure future for generations to come. It is because of their valour that our children can dream freely, play safely and grow up in a sovereign nation.

Today, as we dedicate ourselves to nurturing the health and well-being of India's future, we express our deepest gratitude to the heroes who secured it for us. We salute the soldiers, the veterans and the families who have given their all for our nation.

Let us never forget their sacrifice.
