Everybody is looking for KṚṢṆA.

Some don’t realize that they are, but they are.

KṚṢṆA is GOD, the Source of all that exists, the Cause of all that is, was, or ever will be.

As GOD is unlimited, HE has many Names.

Allah-Buddha-Jehovah-Rāma: All are KṚṢṆA, all are ONE.

God is not abstract; He has both the impersonal and the personal aspects to His personality, which is SUPREME, ETERNAL, BLISSFUL, and full of KNOWLEDGE. As a single drop of water has the same qualities as an ocean of water, so has our consciousness the qualities of GOD’S consciousness . . . but through our identification and attachment with material energy (physical body, sense pleasures, material possessions, ego, etc.) our true TRANSCENDENTAL CONSCIOUSNESS has been polluted, and like a dirty mirror it is unable to reflect a pure image.

With many lives our association with the TEMPORARY has grown. This impermanent body, a bag of bones and flesh, is mistaken for our true self, and we have accepted this temporary condition to be final.

Through all ages, great SAINTS have remained as living proof that this nontemporary, permanent state of GOD CONSCIOUSNESS can be revived in all living Souls. Each Soul is potentially divine.

Kṛṣṇa says in Bhagavad-gītā: “Steady in the Self, being freed from all material contamination, the yogi achieves the highest perfectional stage of happiness in touch with the Supreme Consciousness.” (vi, 28)

YOGA (a scientific method for GOD (SELF) realization) is the process by which we purify our consciousness, stop further pollution, and arrive at the state of Perfection, full KNOWLEDGE, full BLISS.

If there’s a God, I want to see Him. It’s pointless to believe in something without proof, and Kṛṣṇa Consciousness and meditation are methods where you can actually obtain GOD perception. You can actually see God, and hear Him, play with Him. It might sound crazy, but He is actually there, actually with you.

There are many yogic Paths – Rāja, Jñāna, Haṭha, Kriyā, Karma, Bhakti – which are all acclaimed by the MASTERS of each method.

SWAMI BHAKTIVEDANTA is, as his title says, a BHAKTI Yogi following the path of DEVOTION. By serving GOD through each thought, word, and DEED, and by chanting of HIS Holy Names, the devotee quickly develops God-consciousness. By chanting

Hare Rāma, Hare Rāma

This is the real history how everyone changed their religion from sanatan dharma and leaders of the society hide this basic truth.

Five hundred years ago in India, the Hindus were so rigid and strict that if a Muslim would sprinkle a little water from his pitcher upon a Hindu, the Hindu would be immediately ostracized. Recently, in 1947, during the partition days, there was a big riot between Hindus and Muslims, especially in Bengal. The Hindus were forcibly made to eat cow’s flesh, and consequently they began crying, thinking that they had become Muslims. Actually the Muslims in India did not come from the country of the Muslims, but Hindus instituted the custom that somehow or other if one contacted a Muslim, he became a Muslim. Rūpa Gosvāmī and Sanātana Gosvāmī were born in a high brāhmaṇa family, but because they accepted employment under a Muslim government, they were considered Muslims. Subuddhi Rāya was sprinkled with water from the pitcher of a Muslim, and consequently he was condemned to have become a Muslim. Later, Aurangzeb, the Muslim emperor, introduced a tax especially meant for Hindus. Being oppressed in the Hindu community, many low-caste Hindus preferred to become Muslims. In this way the Muslim population increased. Later the British government made it a policy to divide the Hindus and the Muslims, and thus they maintained ill feelings between them. The result was that India was divided into Pakistan and Hindustan.

From early histories it appears that the entire earth was under one culture, Vedic culture, but gradually, due to religious and cultural divisions, the rule fragmented into many subdivisions. Now the earth is divided into many countries, religions and political parties. Despite these political and religious divisions, we advocate that everyone should unite again under one culture — Kṛṣṇa consciousness. People should accept one God, Kṛṣṇa; one scripture, the Bhagavad-gītā; and one activity, devotional service to the Lord. Thus people

Glories of the Kārttika Vow

अथ तत्र व्रत-माहात्म्यं

atha tatra vrata-māhātmyaṁ

Śrī Hari-bhakti Vilāsa 16.45

स्कान्दे तत्रैव—

व्रतानाम् इह सर्वेषाम् एक-जन्मानुगं फलम् |

कार्त्तिके तु व्रतस्योक्तं फलं जन्म-शतानुगम् ||४५||

skānde tatraiva—

vratānām iha sarveṣām eka-janmānugaṁ phalam |

kārttike tu vratasyoktaṁ phalaṁ janma-śatānugam ||45||

TRANSLATION

In the Skanda Purāṇa, it is stated: The benefit one receives by observing vows in this world accompanies a person for only one lifetime, but the benefit one receives by observing the Kārttika vows accompanies a person for one hundred lifetimes.

Śrī Hari-bhakti Vilāsa 16.46

अक्रूर-तीर्थे विप्रेन्द्र कार्त्तिक्यां समुपोष्य च |

स्नात्वा यत् फलम् आप्नोति तच् छ्रुत्वा वैष्णवं व्रतम् ||४६||

akrūra-tīrthe viprendra kārttikyāṁ samupoṣya ca |

snātvā yat phalam āpnoti tac chrutvā vaiṣṇavaṁ vratam ||46||

TRANSLATION

O best of brāhmaṇas, the pious merit one achieves by observing the vows of Kārttika and bathing at Akrūra-tīrtha, can be achieved simply by hearing about the rules and regulations prescribed for the Kārttika vow for Vaiṣṇavas.

Śrī Hari-bhakti Vilāsa 16.47

वाराणस्यां कुरुक्षेत्रे नैमिषे पुष्करेऽर्बुदे |

गत्वा यत् फलम् आप्नोति व्रतं क्पितृऋत्वा तु कार्त्तिके ||४७||

vārāṇasyāṁ kurukṣetre naimiṣe puṣkare’rbude |

gatvā yat phalam āpnoti vrataṁ kpitṛṛtvā tu kārttike ||47||

TRANSLATION

The benefit one obtains by going on pilgrimage to Vārāṇasī, Kurukṣetra, Naimiṣāraṇya, Puṣkara, and Arbuda-tīrtha is also obtained simply by observing the vow of Kārttika.

Śrī Hari-bhakti Vilāsa 16.48

अनिष्ट्वा च सदा यज्ञैर् न कृत्वा पितृभिः स्वधाम् |

व्रतेन कार्त्तिके मासि वैष्णवं तु पदं व्रजेत् ||४८||

aniṣṭvā ca sadā yajñair na kṛtvā pitṛbhiḥ svadhām |

vratena kārttike māsi vaiṣṇavaṁ tu padaṁ vrajet ||48||

TRANSLATION

Without even worshipping the Supreme Lord, without performing any fire sacrifices, and without offering oblations to the forefathers, one can attain the spiritual world of Vaikuṇṭha of Lord Viṣṇu if he simply observes the vow of Kārttika as prescribed for the Vaiṣṇavas.

Śrī Hari-bhakti Vilāsa 16.49

प्रवृत्तानां च भक्ष्याणां कार्त्तिके नियमे कृते |

अवश्यं कृष्ण-रूपत्वं प्राप्यते मुक्तिदं शुभम् ||४९||

pravṛttānāṁ ca bhakṣyāṇāṁ kārttike niyame kṛte |

avaśyaṁ kṛṣṇa-rūpatvaṁ prāpyate muktidaṁ śubham ||49||

TRANSLATION

If one consciously minimises his daily intake of food and follows various regulations for eating in the month of Kārttika, then he certainly attains liberation and achieves the same bodily form as Lord Kṛṣṇa.

Śrī Hari-bhakti Vilāsa 16.50

किं च—

ब्राह्मणः क्षत्रियो वैश्यः शूद्रो व मुनि-सत्तम |

वियोनिं न व्रजत्य् एव व्रतं कृत्वा तु कार्त्तिके ||५०||

kiṁ ca—

brāhmaṇaḥ kṣatriyo vaiśyaḥ śūdro va muni-sattama |

viyoniṁ na vrajaty eva vrataṁ kṛtvā tu kārttike ||50||

TRANSLATION

It is also said: O foremost of sages, by observing the vow of Kārttika, brāhmaṇas, kṣatriyas, vaiśyas, and śūdras will no longer experience birth in lower species of life, which is the result of performing sinful actions.

Śrī Hari-bhakti Vilāsa 16.51

किं च—

कार्त्तिके मुनि-शार्दूल स्व-शक्त्या वैष्णवं व्रतम् |
यः करोति यथोक्तं तु मुक्तिस् तस्य करे स्थिता ||५१||

kiṁ ca—

kārttike muni-śārdūla sva-śaktyā vaiṣṇavaṁ vratam |
yaḥ karoti yathoktaṁ tu muktis tasya kare sthitā ||51||

TRANSLATION

It is further stated: O lion among sages, liberation from material existence is guaranteed for a person who, according to his ability, observes the vow of Kārttika for the Vaiṣṇavas as prescribed in the scriptures.

Śrī Hari-bhakti Vilāsa 16.52

सु-पुण्ये कार्त्तिके मासि देवर्षि-पितृ-सेविते |

क्रियमाणे व्रते नृणां स्व्-ल्पेऽपि स्यान् महा-फलम् ||५२||

su-puṇye kārttike māsi devarṣi-pitṛ-sevite |

kriyamāṇe vrate nṛṇāṁ sv-alpe’pi syān mahā-phalam ||52||

TRANSLATION

Persons can achieve great benefits in a short time by observing the vow of Kārttika, which is even served with great respect by the demigods, sages, and forefathers."
