Project Life Force is dedicated to make West Bengal a ZERO BLOOD DEFICIT state. Donate Blood save 3 lives. Project Life Force (PLF) is a registered NGO.

It is a 100% voluntary organization with a volunteer base of over 250 people working towards our mission "Zero Blood Deficit West Bengal". Our approach towards the solution is engaging with people and motivating them into being a responsible and regular blood donor and for this we have redefined blood donation camps as "Celebration of Life". Primarily, our work involves an Awareness Session, follo

wed by Donation at Blood Camps with different organizations and ensuring that it is distributed through major private blood banks. Furthermore, we have two Mobile Blood Donation Buses, which have made collecting blood throughout the inaccessible areas of West Bengal much easier.

✈️ The recent tragic air crash shook us all. And as always, citizens responded with immense heart—lining up in large numbers to donate blood.

But do we really need a disaster to move us?

Right now, in our own city of Kolkata, blood banks are running dry.
And there are no headlines. No breaking news.
Just silent desperation.

Our Story

Project Life Force (PLF) is an endeavour by the citizens of WB to wipe-out the 150000 unit annual deficit of Blood in our state. We are following the ADD model to facilitate the above. A - Awareness & Motivational sessions are conducted with students & corporates wherein we inform people about the crisis & ways to overcome it. Special emphasis is laid on the fact that it is SAFE to donate blood & one cannot contract a disease by donating blood. D - Donation of blood by students & corporates follows the Awareness Sessions. These camps are normally conducted at the premises of the school/college/ Office/Factory D - Distribution of blood is probably the biggest challenge of this ADD model. RIGHT TO BLOOD is what we advocate & are continously brain-storming to facilitate the distribution of blood in a fair & ethical manner. PLF invites like-minded citizens of this state & country to be a part of this movement .
