India's first paediatric robotic gait trainer, the G Gaiter Paediatric, has been entrusted to the Thanal Group, making them the first in India to adopt this advanced technology.

The first unit will be installed at Thanal's facility, marking a notable step forward in paediatric care and rehabilitation. During the launch event, the unit was officially handed over to Mr. Sabith Umer, Vice-Chairman of the Thanal Group.

The G Gaiter Paediatric represents a significant advancement in paediatric rehabilitation, leveraging innovative robotic technology to address mobility challenges in children with neurological and physical conditions. Its introduction is set to make a meaningful impact on their recovery process.

An awareness training program on the Samagra Scheme was conducted at the Iqraa Thanal Super Speciality Early Intervention Centre (EIC), Malaparamba, on 9th January 2025. Organized by the Thanal Vocational Rehabilitation Department, the session aimed to educate parents of persons with disabilities about the employment opportunities offered under the Samagra Scheme. The speaker was Prijith P K, Diversity Inclusion Manager at the Kerala Knowledge Economy Mission.

2025 ജനുവരി 9 മാലാപറമ്പിലെ ഇഖ്റ തണൽ ഏർലി ഇന്റർവെൻഷൻ സെന്ററിൽ സമഗ്ര പദ്ധതിയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള ബോധവൽക്കരണ പരിശീലന പരിപാടി നടന്നു. തണൽ വൊക്കേഷണൽ റീഹാബിലിറ്റേഷൻ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച ഈ സെഷൻ, സമഗ്ര പദ്ധതി പ്രകാരം നൽകുന്ന തൊഴിലവസരങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് ഭിന്നശേഷിക്കാരായ കുട്ടികളുടെ രക്ഷിതാക്കളെ ബോധവൽക്കരിക്കുക എന്ന ലക്ഷ്യത്തോടെയാണ് നടത്തിയത്.

സാമൂഹ്യനീതി വകുപ്പുമായി സഹകരിച്ച് കേരള നോളജ് ഇക്കണോമി മിഷൻ നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്ന സമഗ്ര പദ്ധതി, അനുയോജ്യമായ തൊഴിലവസരങ്ങളും നൈപുണ്യ വികസന സംരംഭങ്ങളും നൽകിക്കൊണ്ട് ഭിന്നശേഷിക്കാരായ വ്യക്തികളുടെ സജീവ പങ്കാളിത്തം ഉറപ്പാക്കുന്നതിനാണ് രൂപകൽപ്പന ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത്.

കോഴിക്കോട്, മലപ്പുറം, തൃശൂർ, പാലക്കാട്, കണ്ണൂർ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നുള്ള രക്ഷിതാക്കൾ പരിപാടിയിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തു. പദ്ധതിയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള വിവരങ്ങൾ രക്ഷിതാക്കളെ സജ്ജരാക്കുകയും അവരുടെ കുട്ടികളുടെ അർത്ഥവത്തായ തൊഴിൽ സാധ്യതകൾ പര്യവേക്ഷണം ചെയ്യാൻ അവരെ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക എന്നതായിരുന്നു സെഷന്റെ ലക്ഷ്യം.

India's first Pediatric Robotic Gait Trainer, developed by Thiruvananthapuram-based Genrobotics, has been installed at the Super Specialty Early Intervention Center, Malaparamba, Kozhikode, under Thanal. Handed over by Health Minister Veena George at C-DAC Auditorium, Technopark, the device aims to revolutionize rehabilitation for children with cerebral palsy, offering new hope through advanced technology.

വളർച്ചപരമായ വെല്ലുവിളികൾ നേരിടുന്ന കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളുടെ ചികിത്സ രംഗത്ത് വലിയ കുതിച്ചുചാട്ടത്തിന് വഴിവെക്കുന്ന പീഡിയാട്രിക് റോബോട്ടിക് ഗൈറ്റ് ട്രൈനെർ തണലിലേക്ക്.

മാൻഹോളുകൾ വൃത്തിയാക്കുന്ന ബണ്ടികൂട്ട് റോബോട്ടുകൾ വികസിപ്പിച്ച് ശ്രേദ്ധേയരായ തിരുവനന്തപുരം ആസ്ഥാനമായ ജെൻറോബോട്ടിക്സ് ആണ് ഉപകരണം നിർമിച്ചത്.

രാജ്യത്ത് ആദ്യമായി തണലിന് കീഴിലെ കോഴിക്കോട് മലാപറമ്പിൽ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന സൂപ്പർ സ്‌പെഷ്യലിറ്റി ഏർലി ഇന്റർവെൻഷൻ സെന്ററിലാണ് റോബോട്ടിക് ഗൈറ്റ് ട്രൈനെർ സ്ഥാപിക്കുന്നത്.

സെറിബ്രൽ പാൽസി ബാധിതരായ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളുടെ ചികിത്സയിൽ വിപ്ലവകരമായ മാറ്റങ്ങൾക്ക് റോബോട്ടിക് ഗൈറ്റ് ട്രൈനെർ വഴിതുറക്കും.

ടെക്‌നോപാർക്കിലെ സി ഡാക് ഓഡിറ്റൊറിയത്തിൽ നടന്ന ചടങ്ങിൽ ആരോഗ്യ കുടുംബ ക്ഷേമ വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി ശ്രീമതി വീണ ജോർജ്‌ ഉപകരണം തണൽ പ്രതിനിധികൾക്ക് കൈമാറി.

പുനരധിവാസവും ചികിത്സയും വിദൂര സ്വപ്നങ്ങളിൽ പോലുമില്ലാത്ത സമൂഹത്തിലെ പ്രയാസം അനുഭവിക്കുന്നരിലേക്ക് സാങ്കേതിക വിദ്യയുടെ നേട്ടങ്ങൾ ആദ്യമേ എത്തിക്കുന്നതിലൂടെ കൂടുതൽ വേഗത്തിൽ അവരെ ജീവിതത്തിലേക്ക് കൈപിടിക്കാനാകും.

On November 23, 2024, Thanal conducted a training session on Reflexive Integration Therapy at its headquarters in Malaparamba, led by Dr. Jagadeesh A. The session was attended by 15 participants who gained valuable insights into reflex integration techniques and their role in early intervention. The training provided practical knowledge to address sensory and motor challenges, empowering participants to support individuals in their developmental journey.

'Proact' Early Intervention Summit held over two days at Farook College in collaboration with Thanal and the Department of Psychology, was a truly valuable contribution to disability and early intervention. The meticulous planning by the Psychology Department, coupled with the active involvement of students and faculty in organizing the event, was highly commendable.

A special mention goes to the Multimedia Department for their outstanding still photography, creative reel work, and excellent video coverage, which beautifully captured the essence of the program. The dedicated efforts of Thanal's student palliative volunteers also made a significant and impactful contribution to the event.

ദയ റീഹാബിലിറ്റെഷൻ ട്രസ്റ്റിന്റെ കീഴിൽ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന സന്നദ്ധ സംഘടനയായ തണൽ യൂണിറ്റായ ഖിദ്മ- തണൽ സ്നേഹവീട്ടിൽ ഒരു വർഷത്തെ റെസിഡൻഷ്യൽ തൊഴിൽ പരിശീലനം നേടിയ ഭിന്നശേഷി യുവാക്കളെയും, പുതുതായി ട്രെയിനിങ്ങിന് തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തവരെയും, സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിൽ ജോലി നൽകിയ തൊഴിൽ ദാതാക്കളെയും ആദരിച്ചു.
18 വയസ്സിനും 35 വയസ്സിനും ഇടയിൽ പ്രായമുള്ളവർക്കാണ് കുറുവ ആവേരയിലുള്ള തണൽ സ്നേഹവീട്ടിൽ വെച്ചാണ് ട്രെയിനിങ് നൽകുന്നത്.
തണൽ ഏറ്റെടുത്ത് നടത്തുന്ന 22 ആരോഗ്യ, വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ, പുനരധിവാസ പദ്ധതികളിൽ ഏറെ പ്രാധാന്യമുള്ള പദ്ധതിയാണ് ഭിന്നശേഷി യുവാക്കൾക്ക് നൽകുന്ന തൊഴിൽ പരിശീലനം.

സ്നേഹവീട്ടിൽ വെച്ച് നടന്ന ആദരിക്കൽ ചടങ്ങ് കേരള വ്യാപാരി വ്യവസായി ജനറൽ സെക്രട്ടറി ദേവസ്യ മേച്ചേരി ഉദ്ഘാടനം നിർവഹിച്ചു.
ഭിന്നശേഷി വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ തന്നെയായിരുന്നു യോഗം സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചതും നേതൃത്വം നൽകിയതും. യോഗത്തിൽ തണൽ വൊക്കേഷണൽ റീഹബിലിറ്റേഷൻ പൂർവ്വവിദ്യാർത്ഥികളായ ജുമൈൽ ടി.എം.വി സ്വാഗതവും അമിത്ത് വി.പി അധ്യക്ഷതയും വഹിച്ചു.
