Eye trauma is a common cause for vision loss in young adults. It requires urgent intervention at the earliest to avoid eye infection and further deterioration in vision.

One such patient presented to us with injury to his right eye with metal wire while working. Patient was immediately taken up for surgery after reviewing his sytemic status. The corneal tear was repaired and other eye structure was restored to near normal. Patient is again back to his work and enjoying good vision.

Keratoconus is a disease which weakens the front part of the eye (cornea) leading to its thinning and forward protrusion. It can be successfully managed if identified in early stage and treated.

One such patient came to us with difficulty in seeing distance object even with glasses. On doing eye scan (Topography), it was diagnosed to be Keratoconus and a eye procedure, Corneal Collagen Cross-linking (C3R) was performed which strengthens the cornea and makes it stronger and resilient for further progression.
