But the decisive moment when we both made "click" was 2016 during a visit to our home country India.

We were both particularly focused on our training at the time and took part in an online transformation challenge. A whey protein should be used for support. When we stood in the fitness shop and looked around, we had the words of our partners in mind. At that moment we suddenly realized it: we were standing in the middle of a confusing shop, which was full of colorfully glued protein boxes. Each one found incredibly long lists of ingredients with a variety of artificial, sometimes unspeakable ingredients. We felt that none of the products looked transparent, no one clearly explains what their proteins contained and whether they were really good for our bodies. None of the product persuaded us. They were all with an unmanageable jungle of artificial products with doubtful labels.

We left the shop and in the parking lot the decision was made: We make our own protein!

This idea arose from the frustration that almost all products left the most important questions unanswered:

Can we trust the quality of the protein and the authenticity of the brand?

Where exactly the protein is made?

Is the dietary supplement pure and genuine?

Does it contain artificial additives and sweeteners?

Has it been tested and certified by the relevant regulatory authorities in the laboratory?

Is genetic engineering dispensed with?

Are the cows whose milk is used kept in an appropriate manner?

Our mission was now clear to us. We would develop a protein that can be used simply without hesitation. That radiates transparency. That leaves no questions unanswered. This does not contain unnatural ingredients whose benefits are obscured from the customer. Each ingredient should serve a purpose and bring an advantage. Despite minimal amount of additives, we want maximum effect. The proportion of proteins and nutrients in our product should even exceed that of others. It is designed to improve health and fitness. A product that you can easily trust. In principle, develop the perfect protein.

The development of NATURALTEIN

100% natural ingredients in a protein powder? Let's do it at all? We worked with nutrition experts, trainers, business professionals and tested suppliers. In 2018 we were finally able to hold our finished product in our hands. Now, it was time to get approval for the product.

Major setback in 2018:

Our first delivery to India was damaged during transport. A large part of the boxes was lost, which was an immense loss for us. However, giving up was not an option.

With dedicated commitment, several setbacks and many sleepless nights we were finally at our destination: Our protein met the strict, German approval criteria. Because we focused on natural and ecology, our product was certified in accordance with the European Standards and received the EU organic seal!

Now we held a natural whey protein in our hands, which we could consume ourselves without hesitation and which supports our fitness ideal.

NATURALTEIN was born!
