A New Look, A New Confidence!

This patient had a bulging front part of the eye due to anterior staphyloma — a condition where the cornea becomes extremely thin and protrudes outward.

Through a carefully performed corneal transplant (keratoplasty), the eye regained its natural shape. The bulge disappeared — and with it, the hesitation and self-consciousness that shadowed daily life.

Today, the patient looks and feels renewed — confident, comfortable, and socially at ease. 💫

2. पटाखे जलाते समय उचित दूरी बनाए रखें।
3. यदि कोई चोट लगती है, तो तुरंत नजदीकी अस्पताल में आपातकालीन परामर्श प्राप्त करें।
4. आंख के चारों ओर दिखाई देने वाले मलबे को धीरे से हटा दें।

क्या न करें:

1. अपनी आंखों पर पट्टी न बांधें।
2. अपनी आंखों को न रगड़ें।
3. अपनी आंखों को न धोएं।
4. दबाव न डालें।
5. आंख में फंसी किसी वस्तु को न निकालें।
6. बिना डॉक्टर के निर्देश के कोई मलहम न लगाएं या रक्त-पतला करने वाली दर्द निवारक दवाएं जैसे कि एस्पिरिन या इबुप्रोफेन न लें।
7. घरेलू उपचारों से बचें, क्योंकि वे संक्रमण के खतरे को बढ़ा सकते हैं।

4. ਅੱਖ ਦੇ ਆਸ-ਪਾਸ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਲਬੇ ਨੂੰ ਹੌਲੀ-ਹੌਲੀ ਹਟਾਓ।

ਕੀ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ:

1. ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਪੱਟੀ ਨਾ ਬਾਂਧੋ।
2. ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਰਗੜੋ।
3. ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਧੋਓ।
4. ਦਬਾਅ ਨਾ ਦਿਓ।
5. ਅੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਸੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵਸਤੂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਕਢੋ।
6. ਡਾਕਟਰ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਮਲਹਮ ਨਾ ਲਗਾਓ ਜਾਂ ਰਕਤ-ਪਤਲਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਦਰਦ ਨਿਵਾਰਕ ਦਵਾਈਆਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਐਸਪਿਰਿਨ ਜਾਂ ਇਬੂਪ੍ਰੋਫੇਨ ਨਾ ਲਓ।
7. ਘਰੇਲੂ ਉਪਚਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚੋ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਸੰਕਰਮਣ ਦੇ ਖਤਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।

What to Do:

1. Use protective eyewear while bursting crackers.
2. Maintain an adequate distance while lighting crackers.
3. Immediately seek emergency consultation at the nearest hospital if any injury occurs.
4. Remove visible debris around the eye gently.

Don’t:

1. Do not patch your eyes.
2. Do not rub your eyes.
3. Do not rinse your eyes.
4. Do not apply pressure.
5. Do not remove any objects that are stuck in the eye.
6. Do not apply ointments or take any blood-thinning pain medications such as aspirin or ibuprofen unless directed by a doctor.
7. Avoid home remedies, as they might increase the chances of infection.
