On daily basis, i get to interact with people who share their past struggle with "diets", how they have been hopping from one dietitian to another just to drop those 5 kg which they always end up gaining back after that "diet program" is over.

💭 According to my analysis, I have come up to a conclusion behind this pattern- unsustainable methods just to deliver faster results without considering one's basic vitals(height, age, gender, physical activity), their day to day schedule and practical approach of how long can one sustain those habits.

💫A lot of times people disagree with me and how my treatment works due to deep rooted mentality of "eating less & losing more". Sometimes I have even lost few clients because they were just not ready to accept the fact that eating right rather than eating less will help them with long term sustainable results without the need of hopping from one dietitian to another.

This is applicable to everyone but especially to the sportspersons🏌🏻‍♀️, people performing high intensity workouts( cardio🏃🏻‍♀️ or resistance training🏋🏻‍♀️) in the gym or outside.

Only 2% of total body water loss🥵 can impact your sports & exercise performance due to increase load on your heart🫀, decreasing blood supply to brain🧠 leading to poor concentration & severe muscle cramps🦵🏻 due to electrolyte loss, resulting in injuries🤕

Apply the above mentioned technique on yourself daily & if your workout/training goes beyond 60 minutes add some electrolytes as well in water like ORS, Electral powder or 2-3 pinch table salt.

From dieting, eating less just to lose weight, fearing foods that are believed to increase cholestrol to eating well according to his body's needs, including soluble fibre in the form of mango, sweet potato, spinach, cereals, including good quality fats such as ghee, cashews, walnuts and good quality proteins in his diet such as milk, curd, he managed to improve his lipid profile without medicine, saw improvement in his body and lost 2kgs in one month.

If you always feel hungry, check out these high satiety foods you need to include in your diet. Must check the last slide with a list of foods that have highest satiety index.

✅ High satiety foods are generally foods high in carbohydrates, fibre, protein. Research has shown high fat foods🍟 are not as satieting as thought.

✅ When you include these high satiety foods in your diet, you will feel less hungry upto 2 hours of eating them, thereby giving you feeling of fullness and helping you stick to your diet and avoiding any sorts of unhealthy snacking of biscuits, chips, bhujias, baked products and many more.

✅ Animal and dairy based foods can be
included in your main meals and plant based foods such as popcorn, oranges, apples,grapes as your mid-day snack whereas potatoes, rice, dalia(porridge), brown pasta, beans and lentils in your main meals.

📌 FACTS:

1. By mixing lemon🍋 in warm water, you are just drinking regular water with lemon in it. No fat melting or cutting is gonna happen.

2. Skipping dinner can actually make you more fat as skipping leads to late night cravings leading to poor dietary choices🍜. Also it can lead to acidity, heartburn, insomnia(i have personally seen this commonly in people who skip dinners) and migraines.

🔥Moreover, your body burns fat when you sleep and not while you work out, so its important to fuel your body with necessary nutrients so that it can perform its functions efficiently.

3. Skipping meals might lead to hypoglycemia(low blood sugars) which could be dangerous for diabetes patient. So it is strictly advised to diabetics to avoid skipping dinner at night.

✅️ If you want to lose weight and keep it off, you need to
- be in a slight calorie deficit.
- include good quality proteins in your diet.
- include fibre from non starchy veggies
- weight train 4 days a week.
