PCOS isn't just 'irregular periods.' It's a full-body hormonal condition, and these 5 signs are your body's way of asking for help. Save this for yourself or someone you love. 💛

Which one resonated with you? Tell me below 👇

The things no one told us — we carry them longer than we should.

Period pain you were told to "just deal with." Questions you were too embarrassed to ask. A doctor's appointment you kept putting off because it felt unnecessary, or awkward, or both.

I became a gynaecologist because I wanted to be the person who says: you don't have to figure this out alone.

What's one thing you wish someone had told you sooner? Drop it below — no wrong answers. 👇

I say this to at least one patient every single day.

And every time, I watch their shoulders drop — because they've been carrying the weight of not being believed.

Your body is not your enemy. Your instinct is not dramatic.

Find a doctor who listens.

You deserve nothing less. 💛

Tag someone who needs to read this today.

"I've been meaning to go for years."
I hear this more than any symptom.

And every time, it breaks my heart a little — because I know that on the other side of that delay is a woman who has been putting everyone else first for so long, she's forgotten her own name on the list.
Your health is not a reward you get to once everything else is done.
It is the foundation everything else stands on.

Book it. 💛

A 15-minute consultation goes fast.

And almost every session, I hear some version of this at the door on the way out: "I had one more thing I wanted to ask, but I didn't want to bother you."

Let me be very clear about something.
- There is no question too small in my room.
- There is no question too embarrassing.
- There is no question that is a waste of my time.

What is a waste — for both of us — is leaving an appointment with the same worry you walked in with, because you didn't feel like you could ask.

Your 15 minutes belong to you. Use them.

I put together the questions I wish more of my patients would ask — the ones that would change their understanding of their own body, their cycle, and their long-term health.

They're all on this post. Save it before your next appointment.

Your future self will thank you. 🤍

I’m not anti-wellness.
I’m anti-misinformation dressed up as wellness and sold to women who are already doing everything right.
Sleep matters. Stress matters. What you eat matters. That part is real.
But there is no ‘reset button’ for hormones. PCOS, thyroid dysfunction, oestrogen dominance — these are medical conditions. They need diagnosis and treatment. Not a 28-day protocol and a positive attitude.
The real harm of these trends isn’t the trend itself. It’s the delay. The woman who spent two years self-treating while her endometriosis progressed quietly. The PCOS that went unmanaged because she was told to eat for her cycle instead of seeing a doctor.
Lifestyle works alongside medicine. Not instead of it.
Share this — and drop the next trend you want me to react to 👇

I’m Dr. Pallavi Bansal. And over the years, I’ve realised something— most women don’t struggle because solutions don’t exist.

They struggle because conversations never begin.

Women’s health is often layered with hesitation.

Questions around fertility, hormonal health, or intimacy are delayed, filtered, or never asked at all.
But behind every hesitation is a need for clarity.

That’s why I’ve created this space. A place where we talk about women’s health
the way it should be discussed—with honesty, scientific clarity, and without judgement.

Here’s what I promise you:
• I will keep things simple and evidence-based
 • I will never dismiss your concerns
 • I will address the topics most people avoid

Whether it’s a medical condition, a personal concern,
or something you’ve been meaning to ask for years—
 this space is for you.

This page is as new for me as it is for you.
 Let’s build it together.

 Tell me—who’s here, and what would you like to learn first?

I've had patients refuse birth control because their auntie told them it causes infertility.
That auntie was wrong.
I love aunties. But aunties are not gynaecologists. 💛
Here's what I actually see in my clinic — women in their 30s dealing with consequences of decisions they made at 19, based on fear that was never fact-checked.
Birth control does not steal your fertility.
It does not cause cancer.
It does not "accumulate in your body."
What it does — in many cases — is regulate hormones, reduce period pain, manage PCOD, and give women a choice about their own timeline.
The myths aren't harmless. They have real clinical consequences.
Which one did someone tell you? Drop it below — and I'll tell you what the evidence actually says. 👇

Dental check-ups are routine. Eye tests are routine. So why isn't your gynae visit? In my clinic, I see conditions every week that could have been caught — and managed — years earlier. Proactive health is not a luxury. It's the standard you deserve. ❤️ Who's booking their annual visit this month? Drop a 🖐
