Welcoming 2026 with Gratitude, Collaboration, and Commitment ๐ญโจ
As we step into the New Year, the Resource Centre for To***co Control (RCTC), PGIMER Chandigarh extends heartfelt wishes to our partners, collaborators, policymakers, researchers, civil society organisations, youth leaders, and the wider public.
This year was marked by national and regional consultations, high-impact plenary sessions and conferences, World No To***co Day national summits, the milestone of 40 editions of To***co Free Times, 80+ capacity-building activities, structured Basic and Advanced Courses on To***co Control, progress on WHO FCTC Article 5.3, and a growing RCTC knowledge platform with national and global reach. Each milestone reflects the shared efforts of policymakers, researchers, medical institutions, civil society organisations, youth leaders, and global partners.
Most importantly, 2025 reminded us that to***co control is a collective journeyโstrengthened by partnerships, powered by evidence, and sustained by people who believe in healthier futures.
As we welcome 2026, we look forward to deepening collaborations, advancing evidence-to-policy action, and amplifying voices across sectors and communities.
๐ Which RCTC moment from 2025 stood out for you?
We would love to hear from you in the comments.
Wishing all our partners, collaborators, and the public a healthy, hopeful, and to***co-free New Year! ๐ฑ๐ญ
