Panjab University, Chandigarh has released the schedule for the entrance exams for 2023-24.
Schedule: Entrance exam for PUCET undergraduate courses will be on April 16 where as entrance for postgraduate courses is on June 10 & 11. PU Mirror has uploaded the list of all the entrances. One can also visit admissions.puchd.ac.in for the details.
Examination schedule: The exams for ongoing semester will be held from May 2. Last date to fill the examination form without late fine is March 10.

National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is a compulsory test for students seeking admission to National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai. Both NISER and UM-DAE CEBS were set up by Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India in 2007. Their mandate is to train scientific manpower for carrying out cutting edge scientific research and for providing input to scientific programmes of Department of Atomic Energy and other applied science institutions in the country. NEST 2023 will be conducted in around 120 cities [see list] cities across India.

The candidates admitted to the programme in NISER, or CEBS, are eligible to receive an annual scholarship of Rs 60,000 through the DISHA program of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. In addition, the scholarship recipients receive a grant of Rs 20,000 per annum for the summer internship. Alumni of the programme are presently pursuing Ph.D. at reputed universities and institutes in India & abroad. Besides, top performers at NISER and CEBS, securing overall grades above a certain threshold at the end of the programme, are eligible to appear directly for the interview for admission to Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) training school.

Chhattisgarh की बेटी का NASA के प्रोजेक्ट में चयन: सरकारी स्कूल के 11वीं की छात्रा ट्रेनिंग लेने ISRO पहुंची

छत्तीसगढ़ के महासमुंद की बेटी रितिका ध्रुव का चयन NASA (नासा) के प्रोजेक्ट के लिए हुआ है। सिरपुर की रहने वाली रितिका नयापारा स्थित स्वामी आत्मानंद शासकीस अंग्रेजी स्कूल में 11वीं की छात्रा है। वह प्रोजेक्ट पर काम करने के लिए श्री हरिकोटा स्थित ISRO (इसरो) के सेंटर पर पहुंच गई है। उसकी इस उपलब्धि पर मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल और स्कूल शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ. प्रेम सायसिंह टेकाम ने उसे शुभकामनाएं दी हैं। इस प्रोजेक्ट के लिए देश भर से 6 बच्चों का चयन हुआ है।
क्षुद्रग्रह खोज अभियान का बनेगी हिस्सा
रितिका का यह चयन NASA के सिटीजन साइंस प्रोजेक्ट के तहत क्षुद्रग्रह खोज अभियान के लिए हुआ है। यह प्रोजेक्ट ISRO के साथ अंतरराष्ट्रीय खगोलीय खोज सहयोग कार्यक्रम के तहत साझेदारी का हिस्सा है। सोसायटी फॉर स्पेस एजुकेशन रिसर्च एंड डेवलपमेंट (SSERD) ने छात्रों को प्रोत्साहित करने को कहा है। रितिका की ट्रेनिंग 6 अक्तूबर तक सतीश धवन स्पेस सेंटर आंध्रप्रदेश में होगी। फिर अगले चरण में नवंबर में बेंगलुरु स्थित ISRO में होने वाले क्षुद्रग्रह ट्रेनिंग कैंप में हिस्सा लेंगी।
