Each parameter matters: from color, activity, and feeding behavior to gut fullness, hepatopancreas health, and rostral spines. Ensure your seeds are free from deformities, disease, and fouling organisms.

Always choose PLs that are PCR-screened and confirmed negative for WSSV and EHP through Real-time PCR using a two-step nested method. 4. Ignoring Weather & Water Conditions – Shrimp eat less in poor weather or low oxygen.
5. No Feed Adjustment by Biomass – Feed must match shrimp size and total biomass.
