IMPCOPS "Kaba Sura Kudineer" is a wonderful blend of 15 herbs (100g, Rs 128) is now available at Shifa Indian Medicine @ Kutchery Road, Mylapore, Chennai.

"Kaba Suram" in Siddha means fever due to excess accumulation of Kapha. This choornam is effective in balancing the kapha dosha which is known to infect the respiratory system. The formulation is particularly significant in lessening the symptoms associated with respiratory ailments such as fever, cough, cold, breathing difficulty and treating flu.

Kabasura kudineer possesses strong anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, antioxidant, hepato-protective, anti-pyretic, anti-asthmatic and immunomodulatory properties. Several studies have disclosed that kabasura kudineer due to its anti-inflammatory properties aids in reducing swelling in the air passages while antibacterial and antipyretic properties ease fever.

Kabasura Kudineer is a well known Siddha medicine that consists of a whopping 15 herbal ingredients, each of them having unique characteristic features of its own. It is extensively aimed for boosting the lungs, improving respiratory mechanism and treating infectious conditions like cough, cold, fever and other respiratory infections. This Churnam became quite well-known during the times of flu owing to its therapeutic and curative qualities.

Nilavembu (Andrographis paniculata)

Kanduparangi (Clerodendrun serratum)

Chukku (dried ginger)

Thippili (piper longum)

Ilavangam(Syzygium aromaticum)

Adathodai ver (root of Justicia beddomei)

Cirukancori Ver (Tragia involucrate)

Seenthil (Tinosporia cordifolia)

Karpooravalli (Anisochilus carnosus)

Koraikizhangu (Cyperus rotundus),

Kostam (Costus speciosus)

Akkara (Anacyclus pyrethrum)

Vattathiruppi Ver (Sida acuta)

Mulli Ver (Hygrophilla auriculata)

Kadukkaithol (Terminalia chebula)

Dosage:

25-50ml of concoction twice daily or as directed by the physician.

Add 5-10 grams of choornam in 200ml water and boil it in low flame till the concoction is reduced to 50ml.
