Getting your child to practise YOGA from a young age, will add a lot of value to his physical and mental growth. What is important is child cultivating interest and accepting to practise everyday is important.A child understanding the benefits of asana, will make it more interesting for him to practice. Perfection will follow, when interest to practise is set in the mind of the child.
