Always start with the end in mind.. The patient comes to you for teeth replacement and not implant as such..
Your bone doesn't determine your implant position.. your prosthesis does..
Some basics:
Always a minimum of 1.5mm distance from adjacent tooth and 3mm away from implant
3-4mm deep from the future gingival margin ( to maintain biological width and achieve convergence for crown )
1 mm minimum buccal and lingual bone around the implant. If not , augment with bone graft ( I prefer xenograft )
